Well after picking seeds, dealing with seed banks, picking seeds again then out of stock, picking again, long shipping time, picking a medium, etc...I finally got started.
So I started Tuesday about midnight and put the seeds in water. By Wednesday evening they had all sunk to the bottom so they went into wet paper towels and ziplocks. Thursday they sat on my DVD player next to the cable box for warmth. They stayed right at 78-79 deg..I checked on them around lunch time Friday and all 6 had germinated! From just cracked to maybe 1/8" tail. I couldn't plant until later. So after dinner I went to plant them and I couldn't believe how much they had grown. Half were a 1/2" and the rest were like 3/4" long! That seemed fast to me.
So into the soil they go, and and only a few hours later one sprouted! Woke up Saturday two more just breaking the surface, and two others peeking out mid afternoon and the final one pushed its shell up a few hours later. So fingers crossed my luck will continue. I'll try to post a pic, and if no one minds I'll show their progression.
Thank you to all that gave me advice and those that posted great info in the past. Ive learned a lot!
