Afternoon everybody

Thanx Unc & Merx for the pic comments . i know they could be better & i'm trying but maybe a photography class would be a good idea

Unc , yeah thats the main reason i'm going with 600's , i think the cooling factor would be a royal PIA come summer time here , especially now that the rooms on the 2nd floor . been talking to my hydro store guy & i think he may be able to give me a pretty good deal on 1000 watt dimmable E ballasts that will dim down to 500 watts for summer . I believe they're Galaxy ballasts . I do have enough circuits ran to run them no problem & i do have a 12k BTU window banger , but still unsure what to do . ahhhh i'll get it figured out . as far as the wifes concern on the power bill , hell i pay the bill anyway & i doubt the extra lights will draw any unwanted attention as long as its paid on time .

I did get some pics of the cutting (still in cups ) they will go into the cloner as soon as i can get a free minute here , prolly tonight .

I took 4 cuttings from each plant . 1 of each strain or best of each strain will be kept as a mom & the others will get grown out & shared between me & a couple growers here i supply clones for .

well guys , have alot to do this afternoon so i'll catch ya all later . i'll grab pics once they're all in the cloner for ya's to look at .

My opinion is that you should go with the 600's, not sure how hot it will get in your area but the 600's will be easier to control the heat than 1000's

All 36 cutting went into the cloners tonight , all marked & seperated . still waitin on sex to show on 7 of them . i think #7 is gonna be a male , should know by sunday probably . I'll grab some pics of the cloners tomorrow .

Thanx Merx , yeah they are nice & healthy now , i did have a little under feeding problem in early veg cuz they grew so damn fast on me i wasn't expecting it to need the upped feed so soon . but thats over & they're growin like nobodys business

Evenin everybody

I didn't like the way the tent pics came out with the HPS off so i tried again tonight with it on & i think they came out a little better . i also got pics of the cuttings now in the cloners .

heres the cuttings , I love the walmart cloner , it has given me 90 to 95 % sucsess rate with getting good clones . I do 1 thing different than most do though . i leave them in for a minimum of 3 weeks changing the water every week . this way the root plug i push out is entirely packed with roots , most times i have roots coming through the holes in the bottom of the cloner right into the water . i did have good pics of it , but can't find them now ) They get kinda yellow towards thend week & some leaves fall off cuz they have good roots & need some food , so in the last week i give them a small dose of nutes to keep them healthy & growing . never had 1 die off after transplanting them & with roots that packed they can go right into 2 gallon pots if i need to .

thought i'd throw a couple more cabinet pics in too , the last one is 1 of the B8's i'll throw in to keep the plant count to 9 . i think it needs a transplant huh

heres the 9 DG plants doing their thing under the light (which i wish was bigger ) i also have a couple shots of the Beizels that are 35 days tonight . plus a whole tent pic .

the Beizels ......this strain NEEDS a net & i will have one made for their next round

You will kiddo , it takes time man , you can't get great harvests & plants right away . it takes patience & learning about the plants , your environment nutes etc.... your only on your first grow dude ... it will get better as long as you don't give up .

I wish The queen was around again her little tid bits of information about her genetics are priceless , while reading uncs tiger thread she said that her seed plants take an extra 7 days compared to clones grown out , that is great info to have & i'm quite sure i've missed tons of other things ..... we miss you Lady DG , hope your feeling better & can join us again soon.

There are going to be a few upgrades to the tent & room in the next few months , then i will be able to agree with it being in a tight ship shape way . right now its working but defenatly could be better & it will

after seeing Uncs tiger lilly ..... I gotta have it !!!!!

I don't know which thread i said it in , but i feel comfortable here amongst the knights & queen . theres no petty BS going on . everybody is freindly & VERY helpfull . not alot of kids here spewin their BS advice or general disrespect . Its just a few really good people growing really good genetics & havin a ball doing it . i hope to be able to stay here @ the castle for as long as i can . I also hope to grow as many of the Queens genetics as i'm able .

I know how you feel dans, I cruised this site for a while taking it all in and found DGS to be where I wanted to grab a chair and chill. No petty shit for sure, just a love for the plant and it's effects.
Some come and go, some like me are too stoned to get up outta my chair. I forgot where I was going anyways.
