finally back in colorado!!!

Dammit, I missed out on the tickets for that. I looked on fleabay, they're going for as much as 300 a ticket! WTF?!?!? If anyone can score me a ticket or two for a non-outlandish price, I'd be VERY grateful. PM me.

Colorado does have some great genetics
Huge fan of Fort Collins, some of the best beer and medical herb in the state comes outta here. The cough (NLx5 X haze) is a day wrecker for sure. The lime green shit everyone has talked about is a heady commercial strain. The SAGE, Chocolate Chunk, and Midas are now my local favorites. mmmmmmm sweet frosty oraganics. I thought
we already decrimminalized 1 ounce in Denver county?
wow
is the nl5xhaze really the cough i would see in co?
skunky/catpissy expansive smoke?
an oz really reeks just like catpiss!

They're coming back to the Pepsi Center I think in July..
Yeah..these days to get tickets you have to sit on the right site page at Ticketmaster with an atomic clock..ticking down the seconds..then buy like it's a drag race..
A lot of people don't know about the re-release of tickets that got denied during the first purchase process...I got the first Red-Rocks show tickets that way..
Usually they do it at 10 or 11 am MST, on the hour, on the Friday before the show..
they don't advertise it that I saw..It was, one minute you can't buy tickets..the next you can..I was amazed I got um..ticket price..
They were going for $400+ from brokers..

can someone please tell me why the fuck "Reggae on the rocks" i2006 includes "sinead o'conner" (sp?) ????

I'm glad ziggy is gonna be there, but It's the oddest reggae lineup i've seen in a while.

I'll still be there for Ziggy, but hopefully he plays first... so I can bounce and smoke some weed at home just afterwards ...(i live in the mtns ...just minutes away from RR)

Probably because at some point the live show needed a picture torn up on stage and she was available.

are you kidding me? from what i hear it's been gradually getting worse every year with the lineup, security, yuppies etc...

neat, you can take that and use it in almost ANY context since '99. I mean, it's been sucking...movies, music, economy, politics. Everything has become SO mondaine not even oversized hurricanes cant rally enough support for any sort of backlash.

I'll say this, if democrates had widdled america down to the state it is now, the republicans would have been screaming their heads off for years.

peace, mp.

ps Go oilers. I would love to see pronger hoist the cup, if ya watch hockey, you know he deserves it. Even if he played for the blues. :joint:

here's a question for all at altitude.....any of you got plots in the mountains? if so, when do you plant? any hindsight that can be offered would be greatly appreciated.

growing outdoors in the mtns. in colorado is a bitch.

I have indoor and OD experience in both Colorado and Alaska.

In AK its pretty damn easy if ya start inside and finish in a greenhouse where u can manipulate a darkcycle for a couple weeks (photoperiod is the only hassle)...u can leave your plants unattended for quite a few days at a time.

In Colorado MTNS. you have all kinds of negative factors.

-its too hot and dry in the summer (like afghanistan) you literally have to water almost every day

-u need a strain that likes it hot, dry, and altitude/thin air (I never Had one, but i'm sure there are some)

-if u plant into native ground ...even if u supplement the soil...its gonna be really acidic.

-people...there are just way too many in colorado (almost any "guerilla grow" will be found by someone) (and its probbably gonna be a yuppie, do-gooder, weekend hiker)...and they wont hesitate ta throw up a "red flag". (and a guerilla grow will need almost daily visits)

-wildlife....deer and elk and everything else will eat you plants in colorado---they will in Alaska too, but I rarely have seen it happen in Alaska since there is more food EVERYWHERE for Herbivore's.

on the plus side tho...there is so much intense RAW SUN in CO that if u find a strain, a good location, and can use containers (like buried 55 gallon drums w/ proper soil)....and can manually water VERY VERY VERY frequently....then you'll probably be able to grow some worldclass outdoor plants.

hope that helps....I'd love ta hear from some successful colorado OD peeps too.

BTW I've seen massive, secluded, colorado mountain greenhouses that would blow your mind.....thats the way ta go in the mtns....if you can.

how bout that rain?

what rain?

my "secret" OD crops burned up in 1 day of "no visit/water" ...they had no bugs and no animal interaction....they just needed WAY more water.

I had been riding my 125cc dirtbike way way back in the woods w/ gallon gas cans of water to water....they were TFB's that were not gonna be shown for several weks on here. ....they are over now though...10'000 feet elevation and constant sun and inability to give adequate water did 'em in.

colorado sucks once again.

I had 4 clones that i started indoors ....transplanted them to OD plots at the end of may...they took off at first.

as for location...I'll just tell u that they were in the mtns in "clear creek" county at about 10,000 feet elevation.

they dried up in 1 day....that was it.

I anticipated it from the onset, but wanted to give it a try.....I'm not worried tho...I have indoor plants.

It was worth the try.

Colorado cannabis cup????

hahaha yeah dude only outdoors for me would be in the back yard and in denver that isnt happening :pointlaug

Maybe me and yukon need to get together and build a small greenhouse and i can show him how to do some hydro in the greenhouse :chin:

and maybe not :pointlaug

either way i love seeing fellow coloradans on here and was wondering if anyone knew of a nice place to fish

been trying to take my son to get his first catch and nothing...
any ideas or secret holes would be sweet :woohoo:

BTW fuck outdoors when you can have this indoors....

sup- dro?

that greenhouse/hydro idea sound "dangerously exciting"...but we know how hard that would be to keep secret.

I'll have my greenhouse again when I move back to Alaska. (MUCH more privacy there)

Fishing:

I'm not the expert on Colorado fishing, as I was a spoiled f-ing brat growing up when it comes to fishing (growing up in AK and spending ALL my summers at fishing/hunting lodges in AK and N. canada) but I can point ya around a bit and maybe let ya know some areas to avoid or hit depending on what ya like. (BTW I think its fukin awesome that u wanna get your kid into fishing...If I hadent had that type of stuff growing up and now (outdoor stuff like fishing, hunting, bike riding, etc....I'd really hate the world today)...such a great escape.

I'll keep it on the front range for now:

EVERGREEN LAKE : trout and tiger muskie....its beautiful and not overly crowded (30 minutes from u...u can even take the RTD there LOL)

CHEESMAN RESERVOIR: (not cheese#$%& park LOL) very pretty and u have to hike in so its not really busy....I have not had any luck fishing there tho.....the s. platte river just below the dam is worldclass trout water tho....supposed to be pretty good.

S. PLATTE RIVER: just south of conifer near foxton....not many fish ...but fun as hell to go tubing....cold water so on HOT days its like a perfect waterpark that is free....u can try to fish, and grill, and tube or kayak, or riverboard...thats my #1 choice if u dont care if u catch fish.

CHATFIELD RES:...LOL I wont even get started on that shithole. (drunken boaters)

LAKE DILLON is nice....a bit crowded in the summer, but def. a nice break from the city....and u can catch a few fish....trout

...thats a start I guess...maybe others can give more insight....and honestly if I go fishing and I wanna catch fish I go to wyoming (glendo res.) #1 for a weekend trip. (wyo laws suck tho so u seriously Cant take any weed w/ ya 90 days max. min. for simple possession even paraph.)

That sucks Yukon. Hmmm there are some quite amazing gardens in the evergreen area. As for fishing try a normal lake? I don't fish so I don't know... Sorry.
