happening guys! its almost the long weekend and i cnt wait
so my pc is pretty much toast and im hoping can recover the dta off the hard drive
i am going to get a new one here but i will also be bringing the drive to my friends house and see if he cn work some of his it magic; it has a ton of memories that i hope i can recover
luckily i have this old laptop i will use for the next couple days until i get this sorted

maybe the plants will sence the lower lgiht levels from the floourescent lights?!?

First off your cobra lips look great, that is going to be a nice harvest, beautiful crop you have.
The Avett Brothers were great, if you have never heard of them, check em out, I call them pop bluegrass, not really a genre but thats what I call them, and the Stones are the stones, it is an event, the music was good but seeing my bro and just hanging together was the high light. It was a foot ball stadium and are seats were far up and back in the corner but we moved up close for the encores. Here are some pics, stage, mini stage, and up close for encores.

I will check out Avett brothers and thank you b cause I need to get exposed to new music in life. A lot of the bluegrass I hear is great music!
Those are some great pics from the stones concert man! Was it hard to find tickets? I know demand was really high here when they were in Chicago a couple months back. My wife's brother was a huge stones fan and use to talk about how they would go and have such fun at the concerts. I think he may have started using smack because he wanted to be just like Jäger. I'm glad you got to hang with your bro and had a great time!

Yeah, that definitely sounds like favre, continuing to play with a concussion and not remembering what happened. He has like the longest starting streak in nfl history, right? Impressive iron man statistic, but knowing what we know now about CTE, pretty detrimental to his health. Teams wouldn’t let that fly anymore, but give him credit, he loved to play and help his team win.
He did eventually land within the division, had a great first year which led to the awkward position of many packers fans sort of kind of rooting for the Vikings.

Man, the Stones seem to be aging slower and slower. Keith Richards had some rough times but he’s as well preserved as any of them now from what I can see.

I forgot that it’s much harder to clone cuts that are flowering. From what I recall, it takes like twice as long and the success rate is half of cloning cuts from veg.
I also remember messing with light cycles before chop, like a day or two of darkness right before harvest. But lowering the lumens sounds good too, making the plant think winter is coming. Temps should be lower too with fluorescent vs HID.

A few runs ago I was in the same boat and I put my flowering plants in the veg tent under t5's for the last coup,e weeks to finish (under 12/12). I think they were the cookie wreck X LBL crosses. It worked but they seemed to slow down under the t5's. I've heard that if I start flower under the t5's they might stretch more than under HPS. I've got some time to play with here so we shall see.

Yep I love the frostiness of these GB's. I think that the GG4 mom is responsible for that. The sour bubble dad is a big part of the flavor and skunkiness. I go for mostly cloudy with a few Amber at the chop. I've never let too many get Amber before but that's because I'm usually in a hurry.
The game I referenced with Favre and the play he couldn't remember was late in the season with a lot on the line. And I'm sure it was one of many for him. He just didn't know the word quit. Never missed a game and only a hand full of snaps in all those years here. I'm a born and raised cheesehead but I was a Vikings fan that season when Favre was there.
Yep the stones sure are lucky to be in such good shape. Maybe having a lot of cash helps with that or something because they partied so much I don't know how they are still breathing. Good for them and I hope they are still playing in 20 years.

This one I'm not sure if I should go to12/12 or not, AB has told me to stay at18/6 my current, so I will keep that schedule.

Hmm, from what ive read that should definitely have flowered by now if it was an auto, maybe someone misplaced a regular seed in an auto pack? I can see how that happens, one seed looks much the same as the other...


Did you make that cross yourself, Fiddy? I knew a buddy who grew out some sour diesel seeds and kept growing it for a couple three years, things were nice and funky, had a bit of a garlic/onion smell to the skunk odor, IMO. He made a few seeds with it to preserve it, dont know if he's still growing it though, may have moved on to other stuff.



Maybe the stones are doing anti-aging drugs instead of hard drugs nowadays. In the movie A Star is Born, bradley coopers character gets a shot of steroids in his butt, i guess to give him energy, keep him in shape. The Stones must be in their 70s now, still touring and rocking out arenas, i cant even imagine that. Most people their age are retired and in bed by 9pm.

im still hveing problems wiht the computer ad am hoping ot get a new one this week
i got some new pics this weekned but im holding off on posting for now
/im on this computer temporarily so im not going to set up accounts and download much stuff
the two blanc jacques are both doing great; not really growing much in size but adding flower
unforutnately, most of the new plants i sowed were males so we ended up culling them from the garden
/4/5 of the new sprouts were male and there is one last one who we are going to wait another week to make the call on
my friends brother was over too and was totally chcking out the girls
he asked if we thought it would be able to finish before winter but once we showed him pics from just a few weeks ago, he could not believe how fast the plants grew
he had never seen auto and could not believe how nicely they were doing; his idea of what sutos were was oudated to say the least
i am impressed myself and m really enjoying this grow
big shout' out to aridbud/ afterthought autos!
he helped me pick a great strain that would finish in the time i had and it looks like its going to be dank smoke
thanks again brother!

watched some college ball yesterday baba'
my friends brother loves college football so it was fun to hear his takes on the game
plus osu has anohter hot young qb under center and i think he is a senior
/k told a story about how he used to play for alabama
wouldent it be crazy if they could put out three first round qb in three consecutive years?

when are you going to shift the plants fiddy?
in nature it would be getting darker late in the year so in some ways it kind of mimics the natural light cycles
plus im sure its put on all its weight before then so its not like you will lose much yeild
are you guys going to hit up the lake this weekend? we have had this super hot tropical weather, like the tems are only in the 80' but its also like 80' humidity
we might even have thunder storms today
so whats on the menu brother?
i have some left over meat from my friends last night and today im going to do some panko fried fish and shrimp

U guys make me wish i had grown autos back when i was still growing. Like, there's literally no drawbacks compared to regular seeds, seems like. Well, other than the no cloning part, but if you're only running a couple dozen plants a year at most that's not a big deal, seeds usually arent that expensive.



Jalen Hurts won like 30 games in 2 years at 'Bama before transferring, so he can definitely play. He was pretty awesome last night but im not sure he'll be a top draft pick like baker and kyler. His passing is not quite elite level as far as accuracy goes, and i dont think he'll be able to run like that in the pros. He was putting his head down at the end of most of his runs and trying to power through defenders, he's a strong guy but he'll get hurt if he does that in the nfl.

I have heard of regular plants autoflowering but not of autos that didn't. You have an strange plant on your hands there. I'm not sure what I would do with it, it would be tempting to put it under 12/12 for a little bit and see but that schedule wouldn't be right for the rest of your plants of you have any others going and if you don't would it be worth it to flower out just one plant?
She dosent look really big for how old she is, was she a runt?

I didn't make the cross. It was made by Tony Green and dansbuds (RIP). The seeds I had were the original bx1f1 and they went all the way up to like bx6 or something like that. There is a thread on it called gorilla bubble in the original glue forum of you want to know more about it. I just got lucky and happened to be making an order when they were available and got some because they sounded good.
I would like to make my own cross some day. Now that I've got a keeper mom I am almost half way there.

That sucks your computer is still having issues.
It's too bad about the male plants but that's nature right?
I'm glad the others are doing well. I,mlooking forward to seeing how they bud up. So far the pics have been worth a thousand words.
I'm not sure what I will need to move the plants around. For now I have to get the next round potted up in the next day or two. When those are ready to go I'll have to make some decisions, unless the CL's are ready to chop then I'll just move the GB's into the empty tent. If not then one will have to start or one will have to finish under t5's.
Weather here has been up and down but we've had a warm days yesterday and today. We did take the boat out yesterday but the battery failed on us and we had to row in untill some people gav sis a tow. Only the second time out and already problems, welcome to boating I guess.
I hope you had a great weekend. My bro and I went to the gathering of heads and had a great time. The gathering is a camping and music fest in this tiny town in rural Wisconsin. It's really cool as ther is no cops or security there and just about everyone takes psychedelics and has a great time dancing and listening to the music. I took a lot of mushrooms and had a wonderful trip. There was some really good acid going around too but I decided that I didn't need any this time.
I didn't do much cooking but did BBQ a couple racks of ribs on Sunday afternoon.

Hope you had a good week-end, mine was awesome, since both my wife and I were supposed to be in Florida, me for work and her helping relatives, but we both canceled and had a great weekend together, doing stuff around the house and spending a day at the beach, but now it's back to the grind.


As for my Gas & Guns, it is now an only child and it popped up mid June, so about 80 days old. I am down to that one only as I harvested the others over the week-end. I was going back and forth, get a couple clones, veg them out for a month or two and flip the lights on em all, or start more auto's and wait on my G&G, plus see how big it gets? But decided to flip the lights to 12/12 and see what happens over the next week or so, I feel like it is showing some stigmas but time will tell as the saying goes. it either flowers or not, but I need to finish and do a full tent run.


Not sure what my next run will be, I have more Afterthought seeds I am thinking more of those, this time in 5 gallon pots from the get go.

Fiddynuts sounds like you had an epic holiday weekend. I still haven't grown any gg#4 crosses. I do have 2 killer orange glue s1s that are at my mom's. Waiting on the fire restoration guys to finish up the house supposed to be back in the house on the 12th. Those GB s are nice and frosty.

I need to get me some afterthought autos, arid is a cool dude. I like to support the breeder that are part of this community.

Had a weird day today. The manager put up a mandatory overtime notice. I work overtime every day, my lead doesn't. A couple other leads ask me if I am ready to take over. My lead was wanting to change departments, but he's weird. I am thinking he's going to be tripping when he sees the notice. Going to be an interesting day.

I've run single plants in my flower tent before but never gotten a good yeild doing it that way. The coup,e times I have had single plants it's been because I screwed something up, like pre sexing, and had no other plants to put in there. I'm enjoying the last of summer and it already has felt like fall a few days here. On my way to work this morning I was looking at the trees and a lot of leaves are fading and just starting to change colors. September is always a roller coaster with temps up and down. Next few days it's going to be cool here and that is kind of nice, especially the cool nights with such good sleeping weather.
Looking forward to pics whenever you get a chance. I'm sure they are nice and happy plants. A-rocket was one of the strains I grew but AB might have added some other genetics to newer varieties but I'm sure she will be a good one too.

Greetings friends!
It's time for a quick update on my grow but first a quick report from the north side of the border battle between Wisconsin and Illinois. Today is the first day of the 2019 NFL season and tonight's big game is packers vs bears. This is the oldest rivalry in football I think and we've seen a lot of great games over the years. I'm a cheesehead so you know I've got the packers, who do you have?
Now for the other part of this border battle. Brewers vs Cubs at Miller park tonight as well. The brewers have struggled a lot with major injuries to some of their most important players this year but are still within 3 games of the Cubs for the second wild card spot. Cubs don't seem to be having a good year either and I think the crew has a chance to beat them and move into the last playoff spot. I've got the Brewers tonigh and taking 3 of the 4 games of this weekend series. Go pack and go brew crew!

Ok now to the grow update. I'm really stoked about how big the colas on my cobra lips ladys are getting. I don't want to count my chickens before they hatch but this could easily be shaping up to be my biggest yeild yet. The tent is full of swelling buds like I don't think I've ever seen before. I had a couple big runs of granola funk a while back but these may be even fatter. And with a couple weeks left they could get even bigger. I pulled the plants out to water them this morning and they are getting heavy enough that I'm a little worried about snapping branches under the weight when I try to move them. I might water in place from now on untill harvest. Here are a few pics of them.



In addition to what's going on in the flower tent I've spent time this week potting up my next run which will be a mixed run with 2 gorilla bubble and 2 cobra lips. I also took cuts of both cobra lips moms to be my new moms and potted up a couple cuts of the gorilla bubble to be my new GB moms. I'm hoping for a few back to back runs here this fall and winter!

im going to go camping this saturday but plan to leabe early on sunday so i cn be home for the football action

so what have you done differently this round? or is it that you have dialed in this strain and know how to speak her language
thats great that you have several cuts on hand and it sounds like you have big plans for this fall/winter season
im hoping to fire up the lights again here soon
but i still have the outdoor girls going nd i cant wait to see how they are doing
packers/bears is a great way to ick off the new season! i think both are playoff caliber teams and expect this to be a good game
rogers was kind of off last season but the great qbs usually dont have back to back down years, the bears have an awesome defense and trubs should play better with another year under his belt
