Going to be updating with more pics a bit later today, Cindy is doing great. Chemdog is getting alittle burnt still from im not sure what. Also the Chemdog keeps growing for the light and we had to raise the light as high as it could go so Chem would stop getting burnt. So now there is burning from the bottom going up from nutes or something and burning going from the top down from the light bleaching the top leaves.
Some more pics, ive started tieing the plants down and put up a make shift screen to bend some branches. This is what the Cindy 99 looks like right now
I also topped both plants
And this is some of the new growth area that has some preflowers coming out. Its 2 weeks since the lights have changed and there isnt that much flower growth. I think i had a light leak and that was the problem, Any thoughts about it id appreciate it.
And this is the Chemdog, recovering from some burns from the light, a topping and what i think was mild nitrogen deficiency. And also tied down.
22 days since i switched the lights. They are just now showing really good pistil growth. Is this normal? Ill have pics of em up soon. But both the Cindy99 and the Chemdog are just now showing decent flowering growth. I think it was because of a light leak i had, and now that thats fixed, they should start taking off. So im gonna mark yesterday, 21 days from switch and 2 days from good flower growth.
4 weeks exactly today, 28 days. Plants are looking good, cindy is getting further along then Chemdog is but i think both arent as far along as id expect at 4 weeks but will see.
And the Chemdog, Its dragging its ass, even though its been over 4 weeks since i switched to 12/12 it looks to be about 2 weeks into flower at most.
Sorry for blurry pics, im not that great with a camera. Still trying to find out flash or no flash, light on or light off and the such.
If anyones got any experience with either of these strains id really like to hear it. Cindy right now smells EXACTLY like Fruity Pebbles, its crazy. I really hope that carries over into the finished product. Chemdog smells like BO and has a sharpness to it, its kind of strange.
Does anyone know if with Cindy is it smelling like Fruity Pebbles a certain pheno? Or does it grow out of the smell? If not does the Fruity Pebble smell carry out into the final product? Id really like to know, the thought of having buds that smell like that is amazing.
Alright im having some trouble with Cindy now. The leaves are crisping up on the tops and some are dropping off. I need to know if this is a temp problem or a nutrient problem. The room temp is around 83F right now and maxes out around 86 during the peak of the day when the lights on.
This is what its looking like.
This ones probably the worst off branch
and these are some of the better looking areas
Should i cut off all the dead stuff ? Also i just started right now putting a bottle of frozen water in the reservoir to cool down the water. Anyone with any inside would be greatly appreciated.
Also the PH is at 5.5-6 and nothing has changed with the feeding or anything. Im pretty certain its heat but i want to know the best way to deal with it besides trying to cool it down cause im definitely doing that. Thanks.
Ok here is what I think your issue could be either a bad ph issue or you over ferted them I would lean towards the over fert. But then again you shouldn't be having such a ph swing because to much one way or the other will also cause the issues you are experiencing. Also it does look like you have some temp issues by the way the leaves are cupping up in the one picture. If I would have to guess though I would say either over ferted with N or it's because you are having such a ph swing and not keeping a steady ph and then when you do adjust it you are adjusting it to quickly and not more slowly. Peace mike
