Not bad at all! Sizing up fast! Will be a heavy harvest! Get some fertilizer on there soon! I recommend organics so they slow release and prevent deficiencies. Put down some composted manure and peat humus! What is the foliar formula you use?

I mixed in for each potter so far

100 pounds of worm casting s
10 pounds of rainbow mix veg
10 pounds of rianbow mix bloom
8 pounds of gypsum
1 pound lime
1 pound of Epsom salt

Hi everyone,
hey Dankwolf l’m just wondering what symptoms the plants are displaying to let you know they’re micro deficient and if you can tell exactly what micro nutrients they need. I’m assuming it’s not things like magnesium or iron, more sort of trace elements.
That South Mtf sounds right up my alley, love those black girls; let us know when and where the drops happening I’m in.
Cheers,
40

I dont know for sure wich trace elments they are missing . i know from experiance that a good foiler with earth juice micro will bring back plant luster and leafs will look less limp .

It took me 2 years out door to figure it out .

I plan to s1 the south mtf at some point

Any word on that^^^ ?

.

Soil is super sandy and poor for growing in my part of central oregon .

Some potters have bottoms that can drian and some dont . i would highly recmond some kind of gopher screen to any one wanting potter or mounds of this size .

I choose potter vs mounds so i can control the cover crops more effectivly and with less bending over .

Hey Dankwolf thanks for your reply, it’s very much appreciated.
I’ve just been over at the “Outdoors” thread and have seen that you’re using a succulent as a cover crop rather than the stock standard clover with...... Is there any particular reason other than the matting, as you described, that clover creates, for you to use this particular plant??
I find this very interesting as l have been experimenting with halophytes to sequester salts out of the growing medium rather than flushing; Tetragonia Tetragonides to be exact. This loves the conditions and grows with extreme vigour, it can also be eaten, after cooking in order to counteract the effects of the oxalic acid, extremely bad for gout.
Other plants I’ve had success with are celery and beetroot. These plants grow well and perhaps in symbiosis, with cannabis.
I’ve got a bit of a theory that companion plants coexist because they excrete similar exudates and therefore help each other to feed, anyone else got any thoughts on this.
BTW Dankwolf, can l please see some more of those sweeeet sweeet stems. :bigeye:
Cheers,
40.
