To anyone who might want to learn. Amazon is selling a dvd titled Terrorstorm. The source is a reputable person who has spent a good deal of time researching and investigating all the facets of the United States government. It may be hard to swallow all at once, but smoke a fat J and try to conceive what is being said. Business's can cooperate and not suffer business losses or total bankruptcy. Usually, companies are 'affiliated', so they both get found out, and one blames the other...at this point, no one knows what to believe..and later, it is dismissed. It is the same as having two twins, and one committing a murder, and only have their face as evidence from witness's...you can't prove who actually did it. so you let both of them go. I could go into more detail on that, but you get what I mean. If not, they will blame it on a certain division of their company, or certain employees, and deny all knowledge that anyone in charge knew what was going on. Do you see AT&T losing business from handing over access to their systems to the US Gov? And it was openly proven that they lied about it publicly, and no one rioted or made a whisper. The problem is, the government has had the capibility to do this for some time, and has used it..so nothing has really changed there. what has changed significantly is the authority of police forces in the real world, instead of the data world. Now people are able to be tazered just for J-Walking. Or even for talking loudly to a police officer. A guy was brutalized by police officers for just trying to file a complaint about the way another police officer had treated him a few days before. This was at the desk of a non profit facility, and the guy was 100% peaceful. People die from being tazered, more than 500+ deaths reported so far across the country. And they all were tazered over minor/petty offenses, most not even illegal. I'd rather worry about keeping my data safe than keeping my physical body safe.
American citizens aren't as patriotic as they used to be. heavy industrialization has changed that. People don't fight for things anymore. Everyone opposes it, but not everyone will stand up to fight against it. We had to fight to make this country ours, and suffered our fair share along the way..But you also have to fight to keep things. Long ago, something of this magnitude would cause civil war. And that is exactly what the government doesn't want on their hands. But if they go to far, who knows. The problem is, should we really wait and let it get that far?

Not to make lite of your discussion. But where does it end? If try to stay up on technology you are at risk. The only safe and secure transactions or conversations are the ones that we have with ourselves. If you let anyone and thats just one more person in on it, you are at risk of exposure.
