My favorite oilfield saying:

Theres a pusher every tour.
Some days you get to trip for 12 hours.
And if you work the arctic slope oilfield we like to say.
"It aint the slope without the dope"
And if you do have the dope.. we say...
"Dont be greedy thats for the needy"
