Your only addition to the thread is to pop in and complain my bottles are too fucking dirty?

Nice.....

Cheers

LOL sorry bud but I could not help it. I could stand a little more disarray but the drippy bottles I just can't stand. Maybe it is the wiping up the rings they leave and just keeping the bottle clean prevents the rings. I am a slob when I am working but can't stop until it's cleaned up.

I don't think it would be surprising to you all that I do ALL the housework and yardwork.... :D

I can't mow the lawn or do yard work I am to afraid of mold and other contaminants. It is not ocd but just keeps my operation cleaner, plus that is why I let my little brother stay here. I hide inside behind my hepas

yeah it really sucks taking my clothes off in the garage (all of them) and throw them in a rubbermaid full of water to wash later. Then I go down and take a really good shower. i was given some advice a long time ago that you shouldn't have the same clothes on outside then wear them in your room.

It sucks but I use all my scrap clothes for the yardwork since I'm a hand and knees gardener. have to do yardwork here.... i would quit growing if I had to stop the outdoor.

Hepa's are on the menu when I can swing it....

Does anyone know of anything available to monitor my room remotely? (like temp and rh)

I am also interested with installing something like a kill switch for my lights if the room gets above a certain temp.

Any advise?

Superman,

Were can I buy a hi temp shut off?

Titan Controls - Zephyr 2 - High Temperature Shut-Off with Delay
OR you can also use a Arduino and create your own if your handy. You can add many other things including, web based control/monitoring, ph sensors, hygrometers, multiple types of temp sensors(thermistor, thermocouple etc),Soil moisture, motors, ,photocells, servos, relays, You can create a system that has auto shutoff for high temps or it can speed up the fan more or less based on temp humidity. You can program it to whatever your needs are. or whatever you can think of. Just make sure if you get a board that it has alot of input/output jacks

Venture 1599B tape-

Back on track with this thread revival... Butyl rubber is some of my favorite stuff very versatile its right up there with duct tape. Butyl rubber can seal cracks or sound proof loud fans, reduce vibration. its the same material found in Dynamat but its WAY cheaper and you get alot more for ur buck. Also there is way better duct tapes out there that not too many people know about based on my forum reading. My favorite is Polyken 367-17 This is some Serious tape and its one of the only kinds i ever use. Homedepot and lowes dont carry this stuff but it can be bought online or at a local Hvac supply house(dont buy the Polyken/nashua tape that homedepot/lowes sells its not even close to being the same. I suggest people try it its got Butyl rubber and foil backed and doesnt tear like that crappy aluminum foil tape. it also holds really well and molds to almost anything and its good for noise reduction combined with butyl rubber. Another favorite Tape is venture tape its alot thiner than Polyken and doesnt conform as much but itll blow duct tape outa the water anyday. if you want to do the job right use these tapes
Heres the data sheet :)
