McDonald's, Filet o' Fish is probably going on special during the Lent holiday season 3/5 thru 4/17, sometimes it's a Friday only special, other times it's during the entire Lent season.......

either way it's my favorite sandwich from McD's....... :)

someone mentioned trying to re create the food at home. Im down with that. cant be eating mutant food anymore had enough to last a lifetime already. I make home made double decker tacos w/ local grassfed ground beef. so simple and I dunno if taco bell even has the double decker on the regular anymore been at least 5 years since I have grubbed there. chipotle is choice of fast food joints tho

We have quite a few Mexican restaurants now ran by Mexicans. It's not real fast food, but they serve it up quite fast at their restaurants. Any of their dishes smothered in cheese with a pitcher of margaritas, no salt, frozen or on the rocks. That stuff goes so well after some fine ganja. Beats the hell out of burgers from McDonalds or Burger King. Wendys and Five Guys have the best burgers. I also vote for Popeyes, their spicy chicken and shrimp are bomb even when not high. Oh, Where can I get Jerk chicken and a red stripe when stoned?

I really like to cook, used to work as a line cook many years ago.

Fast food can be okay, but I gravitate to the local Mexican joints.

Also as s a married dude, there is always prep in the fridge, lots of cheeses,
crusty bread and cold cuts, leftovers, etc.

Flat bread pizza, onion steamed sliders, tortilla chips covered with
salsa and cheese. mmm.

oh yeah!!! White Castle is a favorite of mine too.

we still have that franchise but it doesn't compete in the town to town market, you'll find one every so often as opposed to, all too often.......

Quesadilla ~ two flour tortillas with just about anything thrown in the middle. I like some roast chicken with cheese and salsa. Anyone else do lodge cast iron cook ware? A little oil in the bottom of a hot cast iron skillet. It takes heat to bring out the flavor of the tortillas. Cheap, easy and fast ~ just how I like it!
