So the Katatonic's I picked up from there about about ago are coming along. They are not to tall or two bushy, pretty small plants actually, but I was figuring that would happen going outside so late in the season. Although the thing that is sticking out and is also happening on the two that are inside mothering. It has grown only 3 leaved leafs. All growth top to bottom is only 3 leaved. I'm getting a little worried because I have only seen this type of leaf pattern on ruderalis crosses plants. And having only ten holes with two with unproven genetics, I'm down right scared. Is this something that is a characteristic of the strain or a deficient cut? I appreciate any and all info aswell as any special needs of this particular girl.

The Blue Dream I picked up is doing perfectly and the thin sativa dom leaves are absolutely beautiful. Very happy with that so far, not saying I'm not happy with the Kat's it's just I'm not sure what to expect and I tend to over analyze things a bit too much sometimes.

Regardless, thank you all at Good Karma for a great establishment with wonderful customer service.

Oh and I know it may be asking for a bit much but are there any (preferably; if the three leaf structure is normal) katatonic momma's you need to give away or larger more structured plants 2 ft or more? I would love to throw a couple outside as I'm legally allowed two more.

I heart Schrom

I heart Schrom

hey jbleezy, i got one of those shrom clones the last time i was there. couldn't find much info on it. have you grown it out?

Hey man. Try spelling it with a 'c' in there...Schrom is pretty unique. Super lemmony smell to her. It is Colombian Gold x Romulan, btw.

it looks like a trainwreck in a way but that lankyness mine exhibited was from the rom in it..A+++ on that long sought after strain...i was chasing it since the CW/OG days until i got one at good karma....

Any chance of any Headband cuts for the 4th of july weekend? I'd love to grab a few Rowdy if it's possible while i'm down for the event. Let me know and see you soon.
Take care,
BG

PS, Bluedream cut from Good Karma ROCKS!

thanks for the replies everyone, i am really excited for this to grow out since it has gotten such positive reviews.

i spelled it shrom because that is how the label spelled it. i will definitely search for it with a c though. i was told that it was a backcrossed trainwreck which is why i selected it, but i like the sound of columbian gold x rom!!!

anybody know any characteristics about it like response to training, flowering time, heavy/light feeder, etc?

thanks!:joint:

It stretches like no other!!! i topped mine and took it at 74 and 88 days. i got a lower yield of very nice meds. potency was there and the lemony bite with the piney undertones was a nice distinct flavor from my usual brands

Hey Almostoverit:

This is the blue dream cut I got from there about a week after i picked it up. She's out side now and about 2 ft 8 inches. She's a stretcher so take that in to account if you're going inside with her. I also have a couple other friends growing this strain and after seeing their plants I can almost 100% say that this is the real deal. Very sativa characteristics, with a vigor that is unmatched in my garden. Kudos for who ever picked the mom.

And can some now help me with my Katatonic question?
"So the Katatonic's I picked up from there about a month ago are coming along. They are not too tall or too bushy, pretty small plants actually, but I was figuring that would happen going outside so late in the season. Although the thing that is sticking out and is also happening on the two that are inside mothering, is that it has grown only 3 fingered leafs. I was told by an older respected grower that the only time he took cuts like that they were the last generation of a haggard mother, that they get so stressed and cut so often that their internal workings get re wired. Is this true, regardless, I appreciate any and all info aswell as any special needs of this particular girl."

Second those Kudos for whomever picked that BlueDream cut. I got a 4' bush that I just flipped inside. The health and vigor of this plant is astounding. I have never even smoked it and I can tell shes a keeper. She is just DAMN SEXY!!!

Can you pick seeds up there. I am on vacation sometime in July and i am in desperate need of some new genetics put I do not want to drive across the country with clones. Not sure of the Rules to purchase in Clear Lake and I am sorry if this comes across as stepping all over a good thing or assume anything. I just need help and a simple answer, not trying to get anyone pissed off or in trouble.

This is the first year this cut has been around & is a localy bread strain. I'm surprised that you only have threes, I grew a 3'-4' in a 8 inch pot outside for Rowdy & it had nice 5 & some 7s. I think that the 'Aim' was mostly indoor with maximum medical benafit. I beleve that there are two moms & all the cuts are close to the seed, neather moms are old.
Katatonic is one of the most potent I've smoked. Sometimes a plant (cut)will stress or start mutating on their own. If your cut was in a 4" square with a plant stake, we cut it & if you want we will exchange. Talk to Rowdy & let her know that nobull56 OK'd a swap.
As to out doors, we will give reports come fall! In another words we're trying it.

Yeah when i got them they seemed a little scraggly, both only had four leaves total, but the genetics behind it made me want to tough it out. I have pictures to at the bottom if that's ok, if not just delete them or I can. Anyways I went with a friend of mine and we picked up four Katatonic's and 1 Blue Dream. We split them 2 and 2. One of his toppled over about three days after and when he pulled it up it had only the smallest nub begins less than about 1 mm, no actual out stretched roots. All is well though he went back up there not too long ago and your wonderful organization gave him a free choice of clone, now we have querkle going too so it worked out better than it started.

As far as swapping mine...well..I would like to, but I'm doing the outdoor thing and this far along in the season it's going to be at least a week to harden off and then transplant, and unless it was a well structured or a momma I don't think I would yield much of anything.

Thanks for responding though. By chance you don't have a Kat mom just laying around somewhere do ya?....I wish.

Hey Rowdy!

When's the 4th of July get together going to start? Just trying to plan when to show up. I hope there will be enough parking also. One other questions. Is there any Headband cuts around? Would like to grab a couple while down.

Thanks and see you soon.
Later,
BG
