AKA Sour Grapes is a strain that was stolen from Keyplay and sold then renamed by SR-71.

The real name of this strain is Grape Stomper and the original breeder was KeyPlay all I ask is give credit where credit is due please.

I dont believe I was giving anyone credit.. i was just saying its real nice. :)
I was told its also called stomper at the time.

Yes this strain is some of the frosties nuggets I have seen with a smell of sweetness , I have seen what keyplay can do with this strain and he has mastered it. I would just think it would be nice to keep lineage correct

Hey DeRail -No one has disputed that Keyplay made the cut and if it is so improtant to keep the lineage correct then why dont you let the person who made it step in and do so? No need to show up reppin something you had no part in creating. Rowdy was just commenting how nice it was so you can stop with the name police bit, it doesnt go over well in this thread. Keep it nice or keep it moving.

how was it "stolen"? Do you just mean proliferated without his consent?

whatever the case, i have a nug of this drying that was graciously given to me by rowdy. It looks excellent. I want to smoke it, but i am going to be good and stick it in its own little babyfood jar for a couple of weeks after its dry.

I vote we call it the Grape Stomper if that's what the breeder called it. I don't think the OP here was being not-nice about his post...maybe just a misuse of the word "stolen" which kinda changes the whole tone of the post. I agree that, if it was proliferated by SR-71 without his consent and RENAMED to top it off, that's uncool and it would be in the spirit of Good Karma to right that wrong by giving it back its original name.

That closeup is really sick.

Soooo glad to have finally found something like this! Im about 45 miles away to the east, and have been riding my bike through Clearlake/mendocino country for the fun twisties, and have never checked out a collective in the area......YET! After reading through quite a few of the posts, you guys sound like a great co-op to check out.
I had planned on working for 4th of July to get my time and a half pay, but after seeing you have an event that day I may reconsider and take that day off. Are you guys accepting new members? And, other than the farmers market so do you have an actual bulding/office space you sell meds/clones from your vast list of experienced growers from?
Im looking to avoid the prices in Sacramento and San Fran Collectives as I purchase about an OZ a month and 380+ is getting too expensive in this recession type of economy. Without too much detail, can I get top shelf quality from you guys for less than $300 and OZ or less than $150 a Half OZ? Im particular fond of indicas as Sativas tend to give me a headache/Migraine so they are usually a waste of $$..... Paying 200+ for a half every 1/2 - 2 weeks is really adding up!
Im also thinking about starting to grow my own meds as I have a workshop in my back yard, a converted 2 car garage, and a small outdoor area behind it (7x15sq ft) both just sitting there begging for a few plants. Could I get help in starting my indoor/outdoor garden from your farmers market, or even your co-op? I mean actual useful information.... Not like some of these clubs withholding info so your meds arent the same quality of what they supply? Im not really a novice, I grew up on a farm, albeit a cattle farm, but we still had to deal with hay seasons and fertalizing/pesticides etc.. I have one outdoor grow under my belt. What it was I dont know as I found the baby growing after a house party I threw (when I was back home in the SFV). It turned out great but I'm not sure what it was, I'm inclined to say it was LA Con. It was heavy!
Anyways I'm glad to have found you guys.....finally. Im excited to come check a Saturday Farmers market out as this seems to be the best day? Thanks!

Rowdy I have been a member of your coop for about 3-4 years now. I don't get in often as I would like due to the economy these days it is to expensive to travel between the bay as often. Is your coop still for residents only? i would like to bring a friend from out of your area. you always have great meds at very reasonable prices. we are planing on going to our vacation property in Lucerne for the 4th of July weekend this year how would one go about getting judges passes?

It's all good. Don't mind me and I totally understand. I know your going trough allot. I've just been in a bad mood. Support to be leaving the county on a vacation and babysitter can't make it. I've had pollen flying for a couple of days now and I need to make sure this back up seed crop makes it.

Plus, lining up all my clones for when I return. Seems, like everytime I plan a vacation. Things start to fall apart. Any ways, don't mind me. Trying to pull together everything before I leave. I'll swing by later on and grab some cuts.

I do have some good news. I have some OE curing now. Don't know if I have enough Bangkok Betty to enter, but I'll make sure it makes it way down for anyone that wants to try some. I'll be entering the OE again.

Take care and wish you the best.
Later,
BG

pardon my ignorance, but what's OE?

It's my Oriental Express. I made the cross back in 2002. Got the e-32 cut from Dr. Jay months before he passed. Then crossed it to a pure Thai male. (e-32 Trainwreck x Thai )= Oriental Express. Head of Head Seeds used a female of her in his cross he made called Casey Jones. OE has a good history. She'll be there for the event. Got some curing now.
Take care,
BG
