Wow, I would love a chance to pick one of these up. Looks like I'm going up next weekend too lol.
So I hate to report this but I got busted.
After leaving school I got blurped then asked to step out of the car, was handcuffed and detained immediately. They wouldn't tell me what for except that they had a witness testify to me selling. Mind you the last time I "sold" anything was the 1/2 i gifted to my buddy with MS for $100. I don't sell regularly and if I do it's to qualified patients ONLY.
Well they had a search warrant and I can't even walk in my room it's so destroyed. They took ALL medicine and my (seed) genetics. I have 5 pages of confiscated items 50+ items total. But all in all I had only maybe 1/4 lb. I keep small amounts of everything and savor the flavors, how do I explain that to a jugde though? Right next to my medicine was a scale which I used to measure out my nightly dosage, so since there was that and a box of ziplock bags they threw on a FELONY sales charge?!? I guess from a blind persons perspective I understand what it looks like, but you all know me and I am not about PROFIT I'm about being a PROPHET. They also took my camera(s), phone, and laptop into evidence.
Any info on what to expect, what to do, what lawyer to get ect. would be extremely helpful.
I'm not a religious man, but please pray for me. A felony would diminsh my hopes of being a nurse/doctor.

Oh and I forgot this..They also popped my safe which had my tuition of $2100 I had saved and they gave me a "receipt for the seizure of property subject to forfeiture" meaning they leagally jacked me and consider my school money "drug money". I also had in there, all my crosses I made. I just lost years and years and thousands of dollars worth of genetics that I traveled across the world for. I don't even know how to feel, my room feels robbed of my babies, and I wasn't even growing to boot! Nothing this year total dedication to school.
I'm sorry to be a bummer, but I know words of encouragement from friends and those who have been though it might help. I don't ask for pity, just advice if you have any.

I am sorry to hear of this. Keep your faith in the fact that you did not sell any medicine. Get a good lawyer asap and let him or her do their job.
Without a record, with your your medical rec, and no evidence, you could walk out of there a free man. Do not panic or stress out at this point. I know its easy for me to say, focus on school till its finished and don't let the bastards beat you out of a semesters hard work.

In socal we get results with Zenia Gelig i believe her name to be and i believe she is based in the bay area also which would be close to you. she just recently got a patient off by just showing up the DA dropped all charges after threatening him with a third stike and he then got returned alll stuff taken.
At the farmers market in riverside ca we have a patient legal donation fund where we help out any patient un fortunate enough to be harrassed by law enforcment, and what weve found is it is mostly just harrassment till you get a lawyer then they droppp charges.

do not stress on the arrest. get a lawyer and the da will make you an offer. i have been given a better offer than that and my charges are much worse. they made me start a company and get a sales permit. da say's it is needed to make me look legit even though they agree i currently am following the rules. the government wants your money. hopefully you have some other form of income, if not start looking for someone to say you work for them.

There seems to be a rash of BS bust. Some one we know got tagged and was busted and 7 felonies were issued one was 30k in his safe. After hiring an lawyer, the DA is negoiatiing for a single mismeanor plea.....Stuff like this really helps you appeciate the good things in this life.

I agree that the bacon is out for whatever money they can scrape out of mmj targets, but I totally disagree that progressives are running the country. obama may be progressive relative to george bush jr but so are arlen specter or joe lieberman; it's just not saying much.

My heart sank when I read the first lines of your post, but if you hook up with a good attorney you'll probably end up suing the PD for hundreds of thousands. Try to stay positive in trying times! Unfortunately if you're receiving any federally sourced financial aid it may become forfeit even if charges are never formally laid. I know, I'm a bundle of good news ;(
