Geez, looking at their health and rocket-like blast off into flower, I don't know that I'd change that much. They are flourishing under your good care, brother.

Thank your for your service and having our backs FarmerLion and your service to our country..!! As conflicted as it currently is ugghhh..!!

Last I heard your were working on your heating and looks like you've succeeded in the nick of time. I'm two states below slightly eastward and the nights having been cooling off the last two weeks...

Looks like your harem could NOT be any happier and flourishing in that environment..
Also thanks for the background on your soil, the color of it is what peaked my question...blacker than coffee..!! Outstanding..!!

Hi farmerlion :) Thanks for the update!

I would increase a bit the feeding now that they are satrting to flower (around 30 % more than previous feeding regime) and also add a bit more of Nitrogen to keep them fully green until they reach half flowering, they will yield better and will produce more resinous flowers

Buddler, I have a 36" exhaust fan, two speed. One 24" and one 12" fan up front pushing air around and from front vent (shutters).

ThermalRider and Deepwaterdude, Thank you for your kind words. I enjoy seeing you guys stopping by.

Dubi, I will have to get more N fertilizer today. I only have P & K left. Thank you for the insights and ratio to go up. I will have to fill propane tanks as well. I haven't plumbed this heater into house tanks. This is a smaller heater not main furnace I will have in for next years grow. There isn't any trichomes on the buds yet.

I wish you all a great day, happy growing! Peace

The girls got a good feeding of fish emulsion. They will get more in a day or so. They seem to be responding well already. Some soil mixtures were doing better than others. Water usage is increasing slightly during warmer days. Girls seem to like the heater on at night as well. I will spend time with them tomorrow as I'm off for the day. Peace

DeepWaterDude, Here is some updates of some different girls. They seem to be responding well to the added nitrogen. I wasn't sure how long my soil would provide naturally. I should have started adding two to three weeks ago. Now I have stressed them some. Flowering isn't the time to be recovering over sites. Peace

911 update

This is the China Yunnan.
This is the Destroyer's
This is the Queen Mother. All of the plants are at least 7' tall. Some are 8' or more in height. Every plant is flowering now. The Acapulco Gold and the Malawi x Kali China were the last to start. The Zamaldelica x Kali China was also later in starting. Of course this wouldn't be an issue with timers. Outside I'm totally at the natural light cycles mercy. That's not a bad thing just a thing. There is much to be learned while I finish this season of growing. With no real set expectations. I certainly don't have any real disappointments. It has been nothing but an honor to grow out these strains. I have gained and continue to gain experience and knowledge. That is my foremost desire in my long term goal of providing medicines for others. While my state fumbles blindly in ignorance. My most viable coarse of action. Is to increase my skill sets and refine growing in my environment. :tiphat: Peace

Bidder, Azure. Thanks for stopping by. There is a lot to do for sure. Has been a busy week so far. Lots of smoke from the fires in Montana. Allergies are kicking my butt. Not getting much done. Flowering is going strong though. I will need more curing jars for sure. Peace

Hey Syd, Yes I did feel my negligence in not feeding more and more often did create stress for the girls. My perception of low nitrogen levels was lower than Ace recommends. The outside temps today are 48f. The greenhouse temps at floor level are 63f. The upper air levels are warmer. I have the exhaust fan and vents closed while it is pouring rain here today. It's helping clear out the smoke from the fires in Montana. I hope those poor folks over there are getting some rains to help put out fires. While the feedings I've been doing have helped. It's hard to determine what is natural yellowing with lower temperatures and what is from the nitrogen deficiency. So I'm just going to wing it and trust in the quality of these genetics to pull me through. In the end this is a learning experience and I'm always learning.

Flowering update

This is the Guawi. She took her time forming many pistil pairs all over the plant. Now she has focused her energies into flowering and is bulking up.
This is a shot in the door. The Malawi x Kali China and the Zamaldelica x Kali China are flowering. They are stretching at an amazing rate. These plants are 9' tall and growing around the roof of the greenhouse. Weeks ago their height wasn't a concern and they didn't get topped. I'm not sure how contact with the inner liner of plastic will effect plant and bud growth. It is what it is I guess. I will get the old indoor grow room set up this weekend to be my drying room. I have several heavy gauge wire racks to mount to the walls. I will also run some wire across the room for hanging plants. I have a couple smaller heaters I will place in there to control temps while slowly drying the plants. I like to do the majority of trimming while the plant is still standing. Stop watering all together and let it consume everything bit can on it's own. I'm sure opinions for harvest will vary dramatically. My time can be very limited and this seems to work for me. I thank you all for stopping by. Have a great weekend, Happy growing! Peace

I know exactly how this feels; I think I only took off the kid gloves this past year. Even when I started flower too small, or didn't feed for weeks for fear of hurting the sativas, still ended up killing it, as you will;) Less nutes, sweeter pot probably. Your China Yunnan is mindblowing. 48 degrees is daytime temp? Wow, that's close to my nighttime lows at the moment, around 45. Anyway, I was waiting for some photos, didn't want to push. Also, I had some VERY expansive ZAm x Kali China, in the stretch sense. They're worth it in the end, but a surprising strain in its shortness of flower time and how BIG they can get. ANd primo. What are nights like if daytime temps already so low?
