This is a pic of that same mom after she did her service for 6 months or so.
I could not find any finished pics of her, just this one, she is around 20 days or so in flower here.. notice the structure and tight node spacing.. keeping her in the usable light penetration while maximizing bud development. this plant did well over 1lb and never hit 36" height.

That plant looks real nice! I took your advise and added another 250 MH over the 6 plants so now there's 500 watts over them. You were right again. Also, the 10 bucket RDWC seems to be slowing down the stretch. It may be early to say but I think you helped me there too. Thanks for your advise and knowledge! You gotta explain this pinching thing more to me. On one of the plants, it was pinched at the bottom of the plant, just above node 1 or 2 and the whole plant bushed out. Not sure when it happened though. I've kind of just been pinching plants in different places but I would love to hear more of what you have to say about it.

The one you referred to that was pinched at the bottom was most likely from the early training here.. we start as soon as they are rooted, if for nothing else to save space in the Veg rooms.
In this pic i marked in red where you want to give it a pinch, enough to collapse the stem but not rip or tare it, it is ok if it falls over, it will correct itself in a couple days.
this stops vertical growth in this node till its healed and allows the shoots under it to grow resulting in much tighter node spacing and extreme branching.
you want to do this to EVERY top node on every branch every week or so.

On the 10 bucket set up... the idea was/is to maximize your floor space and light penetration, pinching and training im sure will help, however it should be done very early and properly as soon as they are rooted.
10 properly trained 3' hi plants will out weigh 12 5-6' foot plants improperly trained by a huge amount.. my opinion of course.

would it be worth mentioning it probably would take slightly longer in the veg process using this style ? but well worth the time imo .ww

No, not really brother..
depends on what your trying to achieve.
for example.. snypes 10 bucket system i would train my way and veg for 4 weeks max depending on strain. will vary from hybrids, sativas etc..
d-40 in similar set up will kill it!

Willy pinching doesn't make veg take too much longer. The plants focus on other growth pretty quickly. Ive found lower stem removal, defoliation, pinching and topping all to usually be followed by explosive growth. This could be my timing, technique or strains but i never find myself waiting for anything to "bounce back". Even when i top or pinch a terminal its back at it within 24ish hours and everything else was growing rapidly in the mean time. I find most of the no stress training to be less effective. With the exception of weaving through trellis. Thats no stress and super effective. Done it is very correct with the method. The tallest tops all get pinched about 1 inch below the newest growth exactly where he marked red in the photos.

i feel a bit out of my depth, standing on the shoulders of giants and all that.:)
also i only use 1 or 2 x600 so would not get the same amount of growth as you guys which may explain why mine take longer.i will say it is one of my favourite styles, along with monster cropping .ww

Thanks for the example and explanation doneit! I think I get it now. Hopefully it won't take me too long to get the technique right. I had a feeling you were going to say that pinch came from your end. Makes sense.

Dynamite! OMG! Those buds are crazy large! It looks like you don't top and let 1 top get larger than the rest if you pinch? I'm not sure if you pinch or grow a single main but those buds look amazing! I only hope that one day I can make the WD-40 look like that. I'm sure it will take a lot of time to figure it out unless the genetics make it that easy. Actually you said 2 tops came from the same plant so I have no idea how you grew those buds. Looks amazing though! Can't wait to dial her in.

Day 65 Flower - Flowered under 1,000 Watts Hortilux Super HPS - Fox Farm Ocean Forest Soil in 5 Gallon Container - Fed every 2-3 weeks with:

6 mL General Hydro FloraMicro / Gal
9 mL General Hydro FloraBloom / Gal
1.25 Grams Kool Bloom Powder / Gal

The last 3 weeks I just added plain tap water and she will be getting the chop any day now. In some locations, trichomes are 50% amber.

I'll bet you she will be potent!

BYTCH - Day 10 FL RDWC
I did some pruning today which I usually do at Day 13 but it seemed like the right thing to do. The canopy seem really nice compared to my other RDWC systems. That's only because of doneit's information and I'm sure I haven't gotten it right yet but what I did so far seems to be working. Pictures won't do justice. I also pruned half of the plants but still have to do the last row. I just finished my last day of pinching the way doneit told me to do it.

Looking good bro!

What foot print are you using, and what hoods?

You REALLY need to make some make shift side reflectors to put around your grow, you need that light reflected back into the grow!
some simple portable stands with refletix works extremely well..

The footprint is 4x8'. The hoods that I use is HydroFarm Radients and I tested them against other hoods but not all hoods. I was happy with the penetration compared to bigger hoods that I tested with my light meter. I know you use those bigger reflectors.

As far as the side light goes, you haven't seen the real rooms with multiple lights. Those rooms have plenty of cross light to not need any side lighting. This room in the picture is a temporary 2 crop and stop room. You can't see it in the pics but there are plants all around 4 sides of the system where Snypette puts her plants. Because of that I need to remove all her soil plants to walk around the system. She does this in all my other rooms as well. She easily gets a half pound of trees around each system so she does very well but it's a pain in the ass because I can't even walk anywhere without moving all these plants around. Plus I have to check them all the time to water them until she moves in.

I see, before you know it, it'll be your shits on the outside! haha

Yes i do prefer the sunsoakers.. we will discuss that later bro.. gotta think MAXIMIZE..

think... lower plant height and wider foot print, 5x10' the hoods should cover evenly as much area as possible, i have seen the hoods like yours, tough to get wide with em..
anyways.. enough preaching huh? lol

damn dynamite those plants are off the chain! from these pics it looks like the wd-40 yields way more than the nag champa. you guys got any pics of the white lightning before chop? how does the yield compare to these 2 other cuts?
