You talked me into it....
Im getting those cages for my next run. Do they have to be painted or are bare ones ok?

Your ph is off abit in the White/Triangle.... and the Illuminati Stardog is getting a tad bit too much nutes, whether it be from the soil or from chemical nutes. If its from the soil only....Just ph your water and thats it. Only Cal-Mag+ every 4th watering.
Im sure you noticed that already though. With strains like this Ide love to see you get them dialed in this first run.
Hope you dont get offended. Im not saying these things with hypocritical vanity.
Im just tryin to help so the trolls aint got nothing to feel good about.

You got the life brother. Im very happy for ya. Maxin' and relaxin' on the farm with great strains, a good woman, cool animals with beautiful scenery.....and fun toys to ride around on..... NICE!!
Im coming to visit this winter. LOL

They don't have to be painted.

Also if you don't understand the variables, you can't make proper diagnosis's. For one these clones came out of someone else's EZ Cloner multiple states away. Before that they were many states away in the dark with no roots at all. Once they were put into the EZ Cloner and got roots, they were aeroponic medium free hydroponics and were getting their standard pH of 5.8 - 6.2. They were being fed hydro nutes because they were in hydro at that point. Then I received the rooted clones and placed them into FFOF soil which needs to be watered at 6.8 pH and they were coming from 5.8-6.2 pH. When you transfer a plant from hydro to soil, there is a transition where the pH is not going to be correct for the plant and you will see visible lockouts for up to 2 weeks. You are too busy paying attention to the old growth and not the new growth. These plants were transplanted into soil from hydro 8 days ago and if you look at the newest growth on the top shoots, you can see that the leaves are growing in perfect with no problems. You must take many variables into account when you are growing.

ps........
Are you running these cuts in soil through flower or are these gonna be mother plants to take clones for your DWC system?
Super clean and tidy in there Snype. Very professional.
DWC pumps out the fastest, biggest buds, in any system Ive ever seen.
1 day......when I feel froggy......Ill make the jump to DWC.

These cuts will be going into flowering hopefully within the next few weeks. I'm going to top them at the 8th node and then SuperCrop them and slight LST at the same time. Grow them to 16" in VEG and then put them right into flower in 3-5 Gallon. Of course I will take some cuts before I flower them.

The BYTCH is my proven tested cash crop. I would never fill up rooms on anyones word of how a strain is. Many tests have to be performed for my to add any other strains to RDWC systems. The first test is always done in soil.

Yeah RDWC is the fastest growth rates that I've ever seen in my life. It seems impossible every time I experience it.

I have smoked almost all of the pheno's in the tent and so far I haven't found a keeper. The only ones that I didn't smoke yet are the KK StarDawg and Motorbreath #6 & 7 but I'm not sure if there will be a keeper here. Hopefully the KK StarDawg is better than what I've smoked so far. All of the pheno's that I've smoked tasted pretty good and looked real nice but is just pretty weak compared to the BYTCH. Other people who saw and smoked the earlier pheno's said it was amazing but they just are not keepers for me to compete in this type of competitive market.

I know this feeling all too well snype :joint:. Kind of sucks actually, once you've tried something truly world class, regular dank just seems so blah......

Yeah I was optimistic about finding a keeper here but like usual a keeper is very hard to find. They look so nice and frosty too. Sucks. That was actually a big waste of 3 months and a 5'x5'. I'm just happy that I have WD-40, The White, Illuminati StarDawg and Oregon White Lightning to move on to as well as the BYTCH. Don't think I will be testing anything else besides the F13's for a long time. Maybe years.

wd-40........

haahaha the door to my garden is squeaky!

I hope this is the ONE for u. sounds about perfect.
keep us posted. I really wanna c the white too.

Optimistic, HA! I've gotten to the point where I don't really look for keepers anymore, just strains to dig further into. Most recently that's become Bog's Sour Bubble. Found this little gem during my most recent hunt. Not a keeper, but I see potential in the strain to produce one

RDWC 10 Bucket / 2,000 Watt Test

Today is day 7 of flower in the RDWC test. Even though I took out 2 buckets from my old design and topped in VEG and continue to Super Crop as well as lowered the lights, the plants are at the exact same heights that they are in my 12 bucket systems where I tuck plants into the cages instead of out of the cages. The only difference is that the plants in the new system have many more tops on them. The lights are currently 23" above the plants. I'm interested to see if I will actually be able to keep these plants down like doneit stated to me. Maybe they will stop their stretch faster than normal but we shall see what happens this week. No pictures for now but things are going really well.

If its day 7 and they are coming up hard may i suggest the weave method? I do it to every strain i have that more than doubles in height. If you used a scrog or possibly even to the cages and weave the tops down, you'll love how that canopy looks in a week. Lower stem removal at day 10-14. Ever since I've used this method i get 2 per light on pure ogs that stretch 3x+ in height after onset. I used to barely break the one pound mark. If you topped too recently it wont work. It sounds like you're doing well though.

That's what I was actually thinking!

Day 7 is actually a good time to do it if you have lots of tops that can bend easily. Weave em down like grape vines. Then wait another week, lsr, then wait till week 5 to start mild defoliation over the 5th-8th week. I love how this method works not sure how you feel about defoliation. Weaving is non stressful and VERY effective. Cheers to you have more tops than you can count :)

This is my first SCROG and I have a lot to learn. I know I'm close to being behind and I can't even set up the screen until tomorrow or the next day. The problem is I really don't know how easy it is going to be to weave these because they break fairly easily and crack off. They are very fragile and I've been dong minor SuperCropping on them. Last night there were maybe 150 tops on 10 plants under 2k watts between 22" and 25". Also I'm a big fan of defoliation and I usually start around week 4 or 5 and it lasts until harvest. Thanks for the tips!

I know quite a bit about training through a scrog. Ive used many methods. Bending, supercropping, topping and weaving etc. weaving by far is the best method. I usually try to start from day one if its straight og/something that really stretches a ton. With a strain that doubles in height ill put the screen right at the tops or just below them then let them stretch a week and then weave everything. It makes for a perfectly even canopy every time. Sometimes you end up needing a second one which is awesome.

That was actually a shitty run because i did half og half cheese and the og stretches more, it was kind of an experiment but i was able to control both rather well. I just did more weaving with the og and less with the cheese. I got 3.9 out of those two lights and ive since set my scrog up way wider and longer and ive been getting even better numbers. I think youre strains will react very favorably. Its def not too late. You could set up a screen on pvc if you wanted to. Super simple and effective. Measure the height to about six to eight inches below the tops. Id go with 6. Then place the trellis over the plants and pull all the foliage through. After you've done this you can start weaving. Weave everything into areas where it would make for a more effective and wider canopy. Empty scrog holes are bad. If you can you want the whole thing full like every single string can end up with stuff weaved to it. Bam, all of those bud sites are now tops. I couldn't believe the effects the first time i did it. You'll look at a space and see it differently. If they're big time stretchers it makes it so you can use less plants because you can spread them farther than you ever imagined. Ive taken what looked like it could never fill the space and filled in two 5x 10 screens under 4k. Cant wait for the numbers to come in on that one. Its like a huge blanket of og tops. Ive only been implementing this all around with every strain i have for 4-6 months but I've really gotten the hang of it and its made numbers go up like crazy even with already high yielding stuff. But the real noticeable increases are with the low yielders. The bump on those has been huge. I wish you the best either way you're one of the most calculated and precise growers on ic. I could see you documenting this method and really pinpointing which strains need to be weaved which days and where screens should be placed from the start etc.
