Yes... I am into preservation and creation but I tend to favor old school, been working Dynamite x Bubblegum for 4 years now, Chem x BG also. I'd love a peak into your garden and seed vault I'll bring my snips and some baggies for seeds lol. It's funny I've not made anything using GSC or GG#4 just not a bandwagon type, of course I've grown them had to see what all the hype was but I've bred with ATF and old school sativa Blueberry, Apollo 11, Double Purp Doja, Gods Gift old(er) school stuff I consider great building blocks. Working a Straw Cough project now. Got that old school turpentine Sensi Star dying to get dusted think I've found the mail that'll hit her

i ran sense star back when they were regs, i had one pheno that was kinda sativa leaning in the structure but the bugs were like bricks. The high was like a mega potent and spiritual haze high. when growing it had a vapour that came off of it and stung your eyes.....totally destroyed the carbon filters

Surprisingly enough i have not grown one strain on this list but defenintly some stand outs for sure. i have always been intrested in sensi star but have yet to see a legit cut/seed. What do you plan to hit her with if you dont mind me asking?any skunky/rks strains?

i have been trying out some of the new hype before i get back to my projects but so far been very un impressed with the hyped strains not that there bad but there just not really original by any means and most allready exested under there first/original names lol .

Goal 1: trying to find time to biuld seed stock from the 70s seeds i have .

Goal 2 : bring skunk back (current project). The closest i can get to the original rks skunk is a s1 clone made from the original . but the s1 is not repersenting the rks profile like the doners did (i dont know why) quality and high are the same . i have a lead on the original rks that ran around oregon and out of state about 10 years ago but have not been able to lock down a deal/trade for it yet.

Goal 3 : preserve land races from around the world . i am doing good so far still on the look out for a few particular strains.

Goal 4 : having fun growing this beautiful plant and trying new genitics to see if they would make a good croos with any of my collections .

Sensi Star is POW to the head smoke. Back in the day we crossed her with AK 47 (circa 2000) the AK mom was unreal but has been lost (or is in unknown hands floating around CO) the buds are super dense and like spongy.

I have crossed Cheese with Blue Satelite 2.2, best cheese I've ever found nothing else I've smoked has come close. I'm going to search for a cheese pheno male out of that so it'll be 50% SS 25% cheese 19% blueberry 6% Sweet tooth pheno hunting will be fun.

Are you using any cheese in your skunk project or just the RKS plants?

Funny you ask . the Closest thing to cheese i could get my hands on that actuly had any kind of cheese smell and structure was cheesequake . so yes i plan to work with it and cotton canndy and the s1 that i described above .

Cheese quake stretched like qrazy and had to be put out side first test run to check for terping profile/structure.

Cotton candy has about 70% rks profile and the other 30% being sweet/berry/white pepper profile and nice structure. my go to strain that has commercial value .

I dont have pictures of the s1 original rks beacuse i have not got the clone yet for two reasons .1 i can always get it. 2 oregon law only allows 4 plants so i have to wait.

Rules are rules ;)

Its funny your project is very similar genetic wise other then the ss and my s1 .

Sounds like your hunting the same terps lol.

The reason I haven't asked about Cheese and Skunk is because I've actually archived these in my collection/breeding already.

We have a Cheese pheno (Exodus AFAIK) that's been floating around SA for more than 10 years. Champagne, toe jammy, blue cheese funk with a high that smacks you in the face. Very strong head high very cerebral, lasting 2-3 hours for a daily toker from a bong hit.

If you meet a random toker here, 9/10 he knows a guy with "bomb indoor", and it will be this pheno of Cheese. It here in abundance and the exact buds and flowers have never changed, which leads me to believe its a clone only run on a really big scale somewhere out there.

I have seeds from this and a few other select pheno's of Cheese from reputable growers. A close friend has already created a Purple Cheese F1 from this line that throws consistent purple hues.

The skunk i am talking about really had no cheese smell but actually a skunk cabbage smell high was cripeling even for seasond smokers and had a 4 hour duration like i have not seen in 10 years in no strain around . if you have it you could be vary rich and or every ones best freind.

Sorry for taking over yoyr thread lumber jackjay i will refrain from high jacking your thread .and move it some where els soon as i can figure out how to start a thread ?

Cheese was also introduced along with Skunk #1 and a few other Amsterdam strains to a few elite Swaziland Growers in regular form during the 70s all the way until the 90s. These were bred to the best Swaziland Landrace over the years to preserve the genetics as the frostier more dense buds brought in more money. They did not share the genetics themselves, however all buds where open pollenated by males as they do not pick males early enough. So therefore whenever you get a batch of this bud, you get seeds too.

Most of the killer outdoor flowers you can find here come from these select few farms. If you know who to talk too and where to go you can source these strains in hybridized form by purchasing flowers from the right people.

Feel free to chat brother its an open forum

I have also been gifted 500 or so seeds from my source for the elite Swazi outdoor. He had collected the seeds over a few years, in his own words: "People complained about the seeds, even if it was just one or two so I pick them out now." Funnily enough, the seeds have become fewer in the batches I have received from him the past year. I thought the growers learnt how to pick males :comfort:

I kindly asked him to continue doing so and I will collect them when he has too many.

These are likely to all be Skunk #1, Cheese and Blueberry variants with possible Indica hybrids with Afghan or Hindu Kush. These farmers received these 5 strains and the outdoor has always been super potent even when heavily seeded. Really crazy trichomes on all the buds not one isn't frosty even the straggle buds. Will post pics in a day or two so you guys can see.

That's why I never asked about Cheese, it's even lurking in my outdoor
