I just got a call from my sister telling me she just got out of a 2 day seminar and "its going to change her life" She literally sounded like a zombie

She gave them the entirety of her savings account ($1800) for "future learning" She is a very sweet women but not he brightest. Just the kind of person Landmark likes to pray on...

In case you guys aren't up on what Landmark is... it's a money scheme bordering on a cult (some say definitely a cult). And they run a very hard cover-up campaign. Suing anyone who speaks up as well as controlling crowd source sites like Wikipedia with thousands of devoted zombies

I did the Forum, advanced course, SELP and IFLP over 20 years ago.
I found incredible value in it at the time.
I asked for and received a $35,000 raise after doing the Forum and also dated a cover girl for a while after.
many things I would have never tried without the help I found there.

I think it falls short of a cult but calling it a religion wouldn't be too far off.

If you have something you'd like to accomplish in your life that you can't figure out alone I can't think of better training for it.

it's kinda like you join the marines for productivity and accountability.
what ever you want to be they will push your ass until you get there or die trying.

it's not for everybody though and they make you do their advertising for free.

go to the free lecture with your sister that's all she wants from you at the moment.
a huge part of their program is trying to improve family relationships.

The Moonies are one of the biggest raw fish suppliers for sushi in the United States. If you've ever eaten sushi, there's a good chance it came from them.

Tech1234- Fuck these people. Do everything you can to get the money back for your sis. Threaten them with bad publicity by contacting the newspapers and a possible lawsuit. $1800 is nothing to these people. Hopefully they will settle up to avoid the negative press.
