hey folks,
Getting back into things and I wanted to start a new thread for my fall indoor run...

Thanks to all of the growers out there posting some excellent reports, you are my inspiration !:joint:

My fall indoor run will include 5 different Ace strains (thanks Dubi & Crew !! :woohoo:)

yesterday was the first day of fall so I started my germination of the following strains....

Guerrilla (Lesoto sativa x Nepal sativa ) I've had these beans for a while now and have never committed to checking them out due to time & space... I germinating a full 10 pack

Congo Purchased these when I purchased the Guerrilla (end of 2006) I'm germinating 6 of these seeds

NepJam Newer version from spring 2008 ~ I'm germinating 6 of these seeds

China Yunnan I purchased this pack from Dubi in late 2006/ early 2007. This was a limited release at the time and I believe only 5 packs were made available then. I was able to get one of the 5 packs of ten seeds each. I'm germinating all 10 of these seeds.

Bangi Haze Another one that I've longed to grow... I've had these seeds since early 2007. These are the F4 version I believe. I'm germinating 10 of these seeds as well.

These are the only Congo, NepJam & Guerrilla seeds that I have so I'm hoping to find some keepers in the lot.

All of these sound and look like great strains, I'm looking forward to watching them develop, I'll keep you all posted.

Thanks again to Dubi & Ace ~

It's great to see you back De La Luz :)

Seeds you commented are quite old but hopefully they have been correctly stored in the fridge. Good luck with germination rates!

update!

I've germinated and have some nice looking seedlings going now, starting their third & fourth sets.

Congo - I mistakenly said I was going to pop 6 seeds of this strain, I went with a full 10 pack. I got 100% germination but only 9 of the 10 seeds came up in the soil so only 9 seedlings going.

Guerrilla- I mistakenly said I was going to pop a full ten pack but I only popped 5 of the 10 seeds. I got 100% germination and 5 of 5 seedlings going.

NepJam I got 100% germination on all 6 seeds, I have 6 of 6 seedlings going.

China Yunnan This was one of the oldest packs and not kept with the others... only 40% germination, I have all 4 seedlings going. I think these are from the P2 generation, that was later selected for the current offering (I'm going by my foggy memory, I hope this is correct info)

Bangi Haze again on the older side of things and not kept with the major seed stash... only 40% germination but some of the germed seedling tips came out of the shell with a brown color instead of white. Only one seedling came up through the soil.

To make up some for the low germ rates of the China Yunnan & the Bangi Haze, I tried to germinate a couple of seeds from two additional ACE strains...

Violett Philippine Kalinga - 4 seeds of this P2 generation ~ 100% germination, all 4 seedlings are going strong! :joint:

Panama - This is from the Panama selected toward the green line from Spring 2007 (again, this is what I recall, I may be mistaken). 4 seeds ~ 100% germination, all 4 seedlings going strong.

More updates & some images to follow soon.
Gracias ACE!! Gracias Dubi !!

you folks are the best!!!

Nice to see you had some decent strike rates. :D:yes:
I just popped some ACE/LMN gear and was very happy w/ my results.
5/5 ACE malawi X meao thai
5/5 ACE guawi
5/5 LMN angola X banghi
3/5 LMN mex/thai X banghi :woohoo:

I had a 1/2 pk of congo about as old as yours I popped 2+mo. ago, only got one to go and looks to be a male and will be tossed if so. :frown:

I'm excited, as this is my 1st time running pure sativas inside.
How small pots sizes do you use?
I'm starting out in 16 oz. beer cups, letting them veg to maturity before transplanting to 2L 5" sq. pots.
3-4 wks into flower, they'll go into 4L 6" sq. , at least that's how I'm planning it now.
Your Guawi grow and ElRubio's malawi X thai grow are my inspirations! :respect:

Best wishes, HL

Wow... where to begin...?
This is a huge project for me and a true labor of LOVE.
So far I have taken clones of all strains and I'm in the process of sexing the individual plants.

~SIDE NOTE~ Much Respect to the breeders for all their tireless work on selection and the time & space it requires :respect::respect:

So far I've been able to clone and sex a few of the plants, this is an on going process.

VPKalinga ~ 4 plants, been able to clone & sex 3 of the 4 so far...
2 Females and the other one has not displayed yet.
Hoping to get the 4th & final plant cloned & sexed very soon.

Congo~ 9 plants, been able to clone & sex 2 of the 9 so far...
1 male & 1 Female... more soon

NepJam ~ 6 plants, 2 cloned & sexed, 1 male & 1 female

Panama ~3 plants, 1 cloned & sexed so far, 1 male & one additional plant cloned and waiting for it to show

still working on getting rooted clones of the following:
3 ~ China Yunnan
5 ~ Guerrilla
1 ~ Bangi Haze

I'll update with photos at some point soon.

HL ~ I started the seedlings in 24oz clear cups, once established I transfer them into 1 gallon pots to take clones and sex them.
The Kalinga females (all extreme sativas) will stay in the 1 gallon pots for the first two- three weeks of 12/12 and I'll then transfer them into 3 gallon pots to finish.

I'll post images and reports in this thread while the grow develops. I plan to update the individual strains in their own threads also when they finish.
