Fake chemdawg, I guess? Anyone know what this is?

Whatever it is, I think everyone can agree that it's one of your dankest pic's yet. Doesn't have the SD leaves from what I've seen, but the buds look like SD (clustered like yours). I think I'd have to be the judge of what it really is, so just go ahead and send an ounce or so this way.lol. I can't stop goin back to the picture........Hot damn!!! I wonder if fungal nats get high as hell bein around all those trichs.

Gotta show some pics when she's at full maturity for us all to beat off to.

hmm. intersting how many DIFFERENT "looks like" strains its been compared to...

has nayone taken the time to consider how different a clone can actually represent itsself in different gardens.. not to mention how old a clone is, or from where on the plant its been taken over gens, or passing thru hands?!

only hope for an actual comparison is to get a cut from an ACTUAL source for that particular cut, and grow it side by side to the cut you have in the enviroment YOU provide.. as trying to compare a cut to others grows, can, and more than likely, WILL be misleading do to conditions.

plants adapt to given enviroments, displaying variables.. but more often than not, we dont see that deep, tho it should be obvious....

I have NO knowledge of Chemdawg, at all... nor do I know a thing about cannabis in general... (one of two sentences are false..lol you choose)

The crystallization looks chemdawg-ish but the overall bud structure looks more Sour Diesely......

The combination of these parents has caused a remarkable resemblance to an unbelievably crystally AK-47 plant.....if the buds were just a little-bit more football-shaped, it would be even more similar to an unbelievably crystally AK plant......

This is just my opinion, as i know nothing about Cannabis, nor do i even exist....

Here's some food fer thought...

What are some 'possible' reasons for somebody to circulate a cut with a particular 'name'...in this case ChemDawg...when it isn't THE cut???

1] Someone found a seed in some ChemDawg nugz and named their resulting seedplant after tha nug they found it in...without knowledge, of course, of whether that seed was a hybrid, S1, etc....quite a common occurence.

2] Perhaps someone was given an unlabeled cut & thought it tasted/smelled/etc. like some ChemDawg and so they deceided ta call it ChemDawg without any verification of fact. I've seen it happen before.

3] Or, maybe someone was gifted a ChemDawg cut that was mislabeled & was in fact some other cut....happens all tha time.


These would be some of the first ?'s I'd ask myself...if I didn't think tha cut I received was legitimate.

Seems more reasonable than jumping to conclusions.


Does anyone else have some more logical explanations for Fake cuts?

Wel thanks for the help in speculation.
Everyone knows I likes me some speculation every once in a while.
But the 2 chemdawg 91 clones I got rooting right now sure look more like the real thing to me.
This plant on this thread I think it might just be one of those possibilties that Nspecta pointed out.
BUt theres no way to really know till I smoke it.
Then I'll be able to get an idea of whats in it.
Looks like a killer hashplant thats for sure.
And I'd rather have this has a hashplant then ther afgooey I got.
Not too into the afgooey guys.
I'm gonna grow Gooey and see if I like it better.

I'm realizing the lower buds are growing alot like chemdawg.
Or at least some of the chemdawg I've seen.
Like the double dawg that was posted recently.
Seems like a chemdawg hybrid more then and OG hyrbid guy.
BUt we'll see.

Well ,when my friend gave it to me, he told me it might not be real.
So it was no intentional mis;labeling on the guys part who I got it from.
BUt that guy obviously mislabeled on purpose because it's obvious;ly not chemdawg 91, thats for sure.
Maybe one of the others but most likely a chem hybrid.Is what I think it is.
BUt we'llsee soon enough anyway.
