you dont need a cali id to get your rec. just ask me! i got mine with an out of state id..... just sayen. besides cops dont communicate or know as much as most people think. one state has no clue you have a warrant in another unless its a federal warrant. city, county, and state warrants stay in there jurisdiction unless the 2 states have an agreement to share records. not that common really. ive got some experience in the matter....
your full of it. i been on the run before . one time it was a warrant from maine and i was arrested real quick in FLORIDA. only misdeamenors they wont drag your ass back. i have other examples but its obvious you dont know what your talking about

I'd say tell your friend to stick around first and see how his case goes.. like many in here mention he might not even get the time he think he was gonna get. I've known numerous associates that went on the run and that never lasted very long plus u'll never have the feel of comfort when your on the run. Get a good lawyer and pray for the best. If he ends up doing time atleast when he gets out he can start fresh. If he goes on the run theres no telling how long he'll stay out before getting caught. Starting a new life while your on the run and 10-15 years down the road u get busted that will really mess everything up for u. Just my 2cent.

only a fellow who'se been in this position can speak to yer post..think i qualify..have been on the run several times (when i was a young man..30 yrs ago)and did 1 yr in prison..if you havent been there, you have no idea what the word boredom means...i had 2 small children and a wife i was deeply in love with..my every thought was about her and my kids..until then i'd never spent a night away from them..after 6 months i got sent to minimum security farm where i could easily have escaped (just jumped a fence and hit the interstate)..only reason i didnt take off was i thought i'd be gettin shock parole, and i did...worst time was when the wife would come to visit on sunday..if i"d had more than 1 yr,i really believe i might have jumped that fence..who knows..one thing that stopped me was watchin 2 fellows who took off..they got 1 yr added to their sentence and sent back to the big house..no more work farm which was a piece of cake..went to work every mornin like a regular joe....i have one question for the op..would yer friend be eligible for medium security or work farm?..if i knew i had to do 5 yrs in the big house they could kiss my ass..if i could get out in the sunshine every day i'd go do my time..what was in my favor was no violence of any kind on my record...thats the 1st thing they look at...

Dont run is the only advice I can give... this worsens every thing by a lot... not only for him, but his family.

They always throw numbers at you to scare you... my guess is if he went in getting 15-20 he will get out in 5-8. Assuming good behavior.

fuck running for the rest of your life... sounds like he knew the risks. sucks to see anyone get busted but with any kind of family or kids you are not running for long. he is gonna spend more time away if he does not man up now.
