did you use syringes or liquid culture?.. are the cakes brown rice flour or something diffrent.??? we just made another 16 half pints yesterday.. took forever it seemed. i couldnt imagine using syringe spores directly to the substrate with that large size.... seems like it would take forever to colonize.. they look phenominal though. great job.

give it a try its real simple and easy to do.. low cost as well... results are great. and yes diffrent strains diffrent trips.. its wild.. cant wait to try golden teacher.. i heard its one of the best. thats my next set of jars i think.


i have verizon and when i upgraded to the new phone it came with one month unlimited web... after a month they charge you. so b4 the month was up i canceled it. then i get all these charges on my bill. i call them up.. and they are like.. since you have a new phone you are charged for data when you browse games and ringtones.. so not only do i have to pay for ringtones when i buy them. but i have to pay to look at them now too.. cause i have a new phone. horse shit. man... these companys suck.

Yeah I need to get GTs. I have grown both B+ and Ecuadorians, B+ are a good time, very laughy and good visuals. The Ecuadorians had a crazy body buzz and very heady trip but not the most powerful visuals I have had. Amazons are a crazy body buzz too, I am also yearning to try GTs. Supposedly a very clear heavy visual trip...

Also if you happen to cultivate fungus I highly suggest eating some right after you pick them because there is another chemical in them besides psilosiben called psylocine (not sure on the spelling on both of those), that chemical is what causes a blue hue to the mushroom because immediately after you harvest the psylocine begins to oxidize and it turns blue. The Amazons that I grew I cut up a big fresh guy for tea and when I made the cuts it immediately turned blue and faded so dark that it looked black almost. I also read some where that the Psylocine is 1 1/2 times more potent than psylosiben, so freshies give you yet another type of trip

We used syringes full of spores in a liquid. Im sorry but I was mistaken, those are half pint jars. My bad. Yes, brown rice flour and vermiculite to get goin..it was late when we did it and it did sem to take 4ever. but patience is something I learned by growing.
Phone company's suck ass. Sorry bout yer luck on that Endo!!

umm the turkey pan was some wild bird seed nocced up with liquid culter about 7 mos ago.. b4 christmas.. they just sat in the jars till a few weeks ago when i cold dunked and cased them in promix and vermiculite. cant belive they actually worked.. for the new jars we used hippie3's supercake recipe found on www.mycotopia.net. works 10x better than just rice flour. they are argentina. the ones we did yesterday were panama... but cant wait for the GT

Whats up FUCKEM members. My new grew finally started yesterday with the popping of the beans I recently orderded off SB. I dont think Im going to do a journal with this grow, but Ill post a few pics here since im only about 30 miles from the East Coast and there aren't many threads that have this many knowledgable people around so often.

The strains from seed will be 5 THSeeds MK Ultra (G13 x OG Kush), 8 Wonder Diesel (Williams Wonder x ECSD), and 1 Dutch Passion Skywalker (Blueberry x Mazar).

I've got 10 of those MK ULTRA beans direct from Adam. I've been holding off on cracking any additional TH Seeds strains cause they've gotten such a bad rap.
I know Raistlin convinced me that the Chocolate Chunks they put out are the bomb...and I trust his opinion. Zombo tells me that Da Purps sucks balls, but to give it a shot.....(yet another trustworthy opinion)
I've still got 10 Heavy Duty Fruity and the MKs....
Please, please, please.....prove people wrong and ROCK those MKs out. Give me a reason to crack those beanie babies out.

My friend started the other 5 MKs (we split the order) and he said they took a little longer than the 2 wonder diesel seeds he has. 1 of my wonder diesel hasnt done anything yet, but that seed looked a little small and weird anyway, so its probably a dud.

Study Finds Long-term Benefit in Illegal "Magic" Mushroom Use
by The Associated Press (08 Jul, 2008) Magic mushrooms have been used therapeutically for centuries, and now science is investigating

NEW YORK -- In 2002, at a Johns Hopkins University laboratory, a business consultant named Dede Osborn took a psychedelic drug as part of a research project. She felt like she was taking off. She saw colors. Then it felt like her heart was ripping open. But she called the experience joyful as well as painful, and says that it has helped her to this day. "I feel more centered in who I am and what I'm doing," said Osborn, now 66, of Providence, R.I. "I don't seem to have those self-doubts like I used to have. I feel much more grounded (and feel that) we are all connected."

Scientists reported Tuesday that when they surveyed volunteers 14 months after they took the drug, most said they were still feeling and behaving better because of the experience. Two-thirds of them also said the drug had produced one of the five most spiritually significant experiences they'd ever had. The drug, psilocybin, is found in so-called "magic mushrooms." It's illegal, but it has been used in religious ceremonies for centuries. The study involved 36 men and women during an eight-hour lab visit. It's one of the few such studies of a hallucinogen in the past 40 years, since research was largely shut down after widespread recreational abuse of such drugs in the 1960s.

The project made headlines in 2006 when researchers published their report on how the volunteers felt just two months after taking the drug. The new study followed them up a year after that. Experts emphasize that people should not try psilocybin on their own because it could be harmful. Even in the controlled setting of the laboratory, nearly a third of participants felt significant fear under the effects of the drug. Without proper supervision, someone could be harmed, researchers said.

Osborn, in a telephone interview, recalled a powerful feeling of being out of control during her lab experience. "It was ... like taking off, I'm being lifted up," she said. Then came "brilliant colors and beautiful patterns, just stunningly gorgeous, more intense than normal reality." And then, the sensation that her heart was tearing open. "It would come in waves," she recalled. "I found myself doing Lamaze-type breathing as the pain came on." Yet "it was a joyful, ecstatic thing at the same time, like the joy of being alive," she said. She compared it to birthing pains. "There was this sense of relief and joy and ecstasy when my heart was opened."

With further research, psilocybin (pronounced SILL-oh-SY-bin) may prove useful in helping to treat alcoholism and drug dependence, and in aiding seriously ill patients as they deal with psychological distress, said study lead author Roland Griffiths of Johns Hopkins. Griffiths also said that despite the spiritual characteristics reported for the drug experiences, the study says nothing about whether God exists. "Is this God in a pill? Absolutely not," he said. The experiment was funded in part by the National Institute on Drug Abuse. The results were published online Tuesday by the Journal of Psychopharmacology.

Fourteen months after taking the drug, 64 percent of the volunteers said they still felt at least a moderate increase in well-being or life satisfaction, in terms of things like feeling more creative, self-confident, flexible and optimistic. And 61 percent reported at least a moderate behavior change in what they considered positive ways. That second question didn't ask for details, but elsewhere the questionnaire answers indicated lasting gains in traits like being more sensitive, tolerant, loving and compassionate.

Researchers didn't try to corroborate what the participants said about their own behavior. But in the earlier analysis at two months after the drug was given, researchers said family and friends backed up what those in the study said about behavior changes. Griffiths said he has no reason to doubt the answers at 14 months.

Dr. Charles Grob, a professor of psychiatry and pediatrics at the Harbor-UCLA Medical Center, called the new work an important follow-up to the first study. He said it is helping to reopen formal study of psychedelic drugs. Grob is on the board of the Heffter Research Institute, which promotes studies of psychedelic substances and helped pay for the new work.

Anyone grow out the strain: Black Russian?

From what I can tell there were two breeders that made a cross that produced the Black Russian strain: some guy named Nebu...and TGA Subcool.

Like to hear opinions about the strain if possible regarding growth, smoke, yield...and of course the $100,000.00 question: WHERE TO GET.

I did see some threads here on IC Mag pertaining to it. Not much info. however and alot of peeps passing the beans down that they backcrossed.....
