I know this might sound really stupid. But as I've been getting older, I've noticed some things that I never gave a second thought to, or things that are so common place but wrong or negative are now a normality in today's society that I never before cared about. Without further ado though, my mental dilemma:
I notice a majority of people still call cannabis by it's smorgasbord of slander more common than it's REAL name. I don't have a problem with most of them, just the one's used for generation's to vilify the most useful and beneficial plant on earth. I'm not trying impose my view points on others. But marijuana, marihuana, pot, grass, weed, dope and reefer are the name's i most have a problem with (others i don't mind as their more descriptive rather then belittling). And to me it is like nail's on a chalk board. Might sound trivial, but most people don't go calling/addressing their loved one's by derogatories. In my mind when I hear cannabis to be called be any number of it's many name's, it gives me a predetermined view point of intellectual ignorance by it's user. I really think there need's to be a HUGE education reform on cannabis, specifically in the US at the least, so people will know the facts, not the age old political word-play and slander-ism. Anyone else feel as such? Or am I perhaps in desperate need of a new strain, and maybe social circle? (although I'll be moving to CO in a week!!!!!)
