ez-clone machine?

I've been looking at the little 10 clone model...almost bought it 3 times now at the hydroshop. You can dome if you want to, they have optional domes available. Do you guys just use the neoprene lids and root purely aeroponically or ever drop a cube in the basket? I was thinking the cube would just get too soaked unless you used a timer, and used it as an aero/hydro cloner.

ez-clone dealers say you dont need a dome packn. so i am getting the 120 model and some rootech gel and just root them aireoponic untill i transplant to soil. the machine is already to go just plug it in and let it do its thing..

This is the wildest coincidence....cos i just bought some misters and was maessing about today at making some spraybars up...trying to fugure out the best configuration for even coverage of mist........even though I have got the idiont proof way of cloning now with the Go-grow plugs(Rapid rooters to or friends across the pond) i just cant resist fucking around with this stuff and making a mess in my lounge hahahaha.
thoe real EZ cloe machines do look the buisness though! how big is the 120 site...i mean how much space does it take up???

Issack the 120 clone model? Damm!!! I do see one advantage for such a big cloner is you have plenty of space to use between each clone. I only need 12 clones per grow. But when I clone seed crops I do need the extra spaces as they'll be unsexed and I will have some male clones to kill.

HI Harry if the rapid rooters are idiot proof, well I'm an idiot. I lost many clones and time using the dome and rooters. Came down to the very last clone a couple of times to keep a mom. That's why I spent the money.I know they can be made easily but like Johnbudd my thumb and hammers don't get along.

After I get full feeders, I like to put the clones in Rapid Rooters and then in net cups, cover with media (rocks in my case) and start to veg. This saves about 1 week of veg time. The plant anchors qiuckly to the rapid rooter, gains stability and begins to veg rapidly.

I have had the EZC120 for quite some time, so i have tried alot of different things. This is what works best for me.

Smokey lol....I was the same with Rockwool mate...when I said idiot proof i meant this particular idiot man hehehe.
Im happy now with those go-grows, getting em done in 7-10 days....but I get easily bored and like fiddling with stuff and experimenting...I I lost a few in a heated propagater though with the go-grows....theyre great as long as you keep em moist...thats their advantage over rockwool I think, being that you stand em in water and they wont water log!.
I still wanna make me one of those though hehhe, I aint even used the one i made a couple months back wioth the spinners yet....

Well Harry I don't know how big the 120 model is but Maybe its on the website. www.ezclone.com

I'd like to show you the results of my machine. This was at 12 days from cutting. You judge the success rate. I think I'll plant them in two days. All clones have roots but four are kinda weak, but still might make it. I'd say this is excellant.

Thanks Red, These can be easily made by anyone (expectin myself). A bucket with top, air stones and a pump as well as some spraying manifold. I can't make anything so therefore store bought is the way I go.

I made one too but its a square bin.. holds about 17 quarts of h20 i believe i may change up.. to a bucket.. thanx for sharing rack.. peace..

Issack I didn't want to spend the money. I thought I could prefect the dome method. But after almost losing two strains to die for, I didn't want to be in that position again.

Elkslayer, I'm surprized you have a hot water problem. I have to take out a gallon and replace it with hot water every day to keep my water from being too cold. The company states 72 is the best temp for cloning. My water want to stay around 60. I'm thinking of buying the optional heater for it.
