I stopped believing in strains a while ago.
What I started with was three different lines of crosses of Jack Herrer and purple kushes. At the time they had names like blueberry indica blueberry sativa and the one.
In this I was finding purple once in a while and intentionally went after it inbreeding anything I could find that would go purple, and crossing the results.
The purple comes from where kushes escaped from seed hemps. They carry that berry purple combination into the broad leaf drug variety we call pure kush or 'indica'.
If you are looking for color, that's where you will find it.
The trouble with purples and reds is they are closer to hemp.
This means checking way more seedlings for a good flavor and chemotype.
