Exploring lunarcy phases with Apollo 11

Hey, have any of you Apollo afficianados in this thread seen any cannabinoid profile test results for A11? Would be interesting.

Here's some sort of a grow report:

I grew one A11 x (F13 x A11). It grew a bit like C99 I had last year; some similarities to A11 but more symmetric. The plant showed it's sex quite early, I think first preflowers appeared at week two of three of the veg period. Vegged it for around four weeks at which point it wasn't really that big, maybe 40cm. They did well with little nutes, and coped good with higher levels too: I hit the plants with a bit too much of PK13/14 and A11 x F13 handled it best of the bunch with some minor nute burn that was fixed with a light flush. In the veg period plants smelled of sweet berry candy, very nice.

Topped it and ended up with around 10 tops. After flipping it stretched well beyond my Inca Spirit and AK48. Few weeks in to flowering I wasn't expecting too much yield by the way the plant looked, but between weeks 5 and 7 they bulked up: still not huge but very tight. During the weeks six to eight the calyxes "exploded" a bit and showed some foxtails. There was a bit of color too, though no real purples but rather a bit grayish-purple tint. Very little though. Total yield was somewhere in the neighbourhood of two-two and a half ounces. Trimming-wise this plant was the easiest I've had, no much leaves on the flowers at all. The smell and taste of the finished product are not very strong at all, but it smokes smooth and leaves a nice taste. There are hints of hash, lemons and berries to be found.

In the high department this strain delivered pretty much what I expected. It's heavier than A11's than I've had before, but shares similar very clear, positive and creative headspace but coupled with velvety, muscle relaxant body buzz. Works for me at any time from dawn till dusk, in fact this was the only strain I smoked for two weeks and only got to other buds when A11 x F13 started to run out. The plant was taken at eight weeks and as there was no much development in volume / density during the last week, it seems it could have been harvested earlier for more heady effects. This is something I'm going to test in the future.

Thanks for the report Ruosk!
Both of your last two posts offered great feedback, much appreciated.
Not only for me, but those getting these @ SB.
You only popped two beans, right? Hope the one convinced you to pop some more.
Your girl was the largest bean, right?
The original BG Apollo's were small seeds, my f2's were a little bigger. Be interesting to note if the smaller beans leaned hard to the Apollo.
Apollo is a very "green" marijuana, any color is coming from the F13. :D
The berry is very much F13 too.

Again, thanks for testing, and great feedback! :good:

HL, Good to hear. It's frustrating when you can't any worthwhile information.

Yes, I popped two seeds one of which was sadly lost very early after germination and the one that survived was the biggest of the bunch by far to be found. Can't wait to grow some more really, and make F2's too. Gotta try to remember to make a note of the seed size, the parentage thing crossed my mind too while germing and might have been why I mentioned it in the first place. :)

Just scored some Apollo 13 from a buddy and it is just like Grimm's description early in this thread. Just phenomenal. Keeps you in the happiest, most euphoric stone/high for nearly 4 hours. Highly recommended. Tried many many strains and this may be the closest to a holy grail I have found.

Nachilloo, can't wait to see how your A11 x F13's look. A friend grew out a cuts I gave and was absolutely blown away by ease of growing, potency and effects. You'll be in for a treat man, though looking at your other grows... all absolutely stellar.

Bummer, wish there were more reports available. I'll try to write about other phenos I encounter, but that won't be until the fall. Here's some cured goods, though long gone now:

Hola amigos, good to see a couple of peeps playing w/ these. :D

I sprouted a bunch of Candy Chem x A11 this spring for my friend's outdoor, sexing them 1st.
Apollo always finished by the end of Sept. for me, w/ the F13 cross running a few extra wks. later.
My friend harvested around 10 days ago when he found some mold.
I kept a couple of cuts from his plants, throwing one OD and keeping one in.
I'll be taking the indoor one down today or tomorrow, and will try and get some pics, but here's the OD a few days ago still going strong! :)

Highlighter, just chiming in that your A11 GPC x A11 looks stellar. Stronger looking than the cut that went around here where I live, can't wait to flower it out soon. Got some security issues earlier and had to pull up and relocate my plants right after they had started taking root, have them in very low light conditions for a few weeks and then repot and start vegging and after that had to deal with some pest issues (gotta start quarantining clones I bring in lol) - and the one I have left still looks good after some recovery time. Luckily getting back a male cut too grown from the same seeds.
