I wasn't there last year (damn) but from my understanding it's a total blind competition, which is they way it should be. Can't wait for this years though.

Yes farmer john - last year it was a 'blind' test - and DG has said it will work the same way this year - each sample will be randomly numbered - no strain or breeder info
PS - the lightweight comment was a joke - i think Hazy realised :wink: like they say at Siberie - smoke less - enjoy it more

Farmer John ,those are wise wise words. I personally am not a heavy smoker...I am an enjoyer, smoking fine weed for me is a holistic experience and I smoke my weed like I drink fine wine. I will obviously smoke more in A'Dam than I'm used to smoking, but I'll smoke when I feel like it and if I don't, well I'll just pass it on and not be bothered because I did so. My idea is to enjoy my three days, and that doesn't necessarily mean that to enjoy the trip I have to end up under a table. Had I opted for a Judges Pass that's where you'd have found me after Day 1

I have been very fortunate with a Judges Pass for this years IC fun. Really looking forward to meeting you all, and enjoying that great city.
Like a wine tasting festival, I think judges will have to sample very small amount of each sample(3-4 hits), and the tricky part will be cleansing your pallet prior to the next smoke. If each sample was smoked to its last spec, I would have to think we would all be jello under a table somewhere.
Women,fine wine, great cannabis, and a good lasanga are meant to be savored and enjoyed.(not in any particular order)
I plan on being very busy and starting days early and ending late....DG,Gypsy and the crew have a great schedule....the time and place have been set for us all to have a grea time.......counting the days........

LAst year I would take about 3 hits of each sample joints or maybe a Volcano vaporiser bag. More than that and I was overwhelmed. It's a lot of weed to smoke in so little time!

oh i agree it sure is alot of weed to smoke in a little bit of time, but thats not to say im not up for the challange and i havnt done it before (not quite so many flavors, or done for an event, lol).
dont get me wrong its a retarded amount of weed to smoke, but i see there being some late nights and theres always time for another smoke break :wink:

Last year the judges did not think much of my No39 (Cheese 1st BX) still I cant complain at 38th out of 40 in that company!! -but I decided not to enter this year.
If one of the Coffee Shops is Homegrown Fantasy gallery then you may see some Cheese - as they entered it in the HTCC last year and got 3rd in the peoples cup - otherwise who knows - lots of people have it
