Exhaust increasing ambient temps

Currently running a 400W in a DIY cool-tube with a 449cfm Vortex inside of a "C24" model cabinet from Lowes. I've sort of hit a brick wall as the hot air that comes from the cool-tube is just being vented into the spare bedroom where the box itself is. So basically it's just recycling hot air that it spews out. I'm going to fine tune the cabinet itself a bit more but I don't know how much good it will do. Ambient temps inside of the bedroom are around 78F but the temperature gauge inside the cab near the plants is reading something like 88-90F and this just seems far too high for such a powerful fan + cool-tube. Don't really see how I've done anything wrong, though. I'm using an active intake (PC fan) that's rated around 50CFM and the air that comes from that seems to be pretty cool. Not really sure what else I can do as I can't cut holes into the ceiling/wall to vent because I rent. I also don't want to use a window A/C unit because I like keeping my back windows locked and it would run my power bill up way too much. I've got a little fan in there to circulate air but it still seems unusual. Any ideas? I might just have to suffer :\

The only way is to cool down that room, and since ya can't cut holes and don't want to use an a/c unit then you won't get the yeild you want with it like that. They will grow and bud up but for your ladies to show what they can truly do and be like ya gotta cool the room down.Maybe a box fan in the open door to the room to pull cooler air into the room.

all had heat issues so you will get Dank bud but if ya cool that room you will have a lot of Dank like this fron a katsu bubba clone that vegged for 2 weeks got a zip plus off her .

A dead end

A dead end

Yeah, that's what I figured. Thanks for the help, guys. I might just have to break down and try a window unit but it just seems risky/unsafe. Also, it may seem suspicious as my place is only one story and barely 1,000 sq/ft so visibly there really isn't a need for a window unit. I wonder if I could use a duct and route that exhaust air into the closet but I'm sure that wouldn't do much good as it would eventually leak out of the closet and into the room. In my last apartment I did actually cut a 4" hole into the ceiling and I exhausted up there and before I moved out I patched up the hole -- guess I could try this here but I really hate to damage anything. Maybe I could route the duct into the closet and I'd put the hole there so it's not in plain site and the patch job would most likely be overlooked. Maybe try to use a wall outlet as a hole to vent or perhaps the A/C duct that's in the room and just not use central heat/AC...seems too inconvenient. I'll keep brainstorming and I'll post whatever I come up with.

I was gonna say cut a hole and patch it but you said that you were renting so I gave you another way to try cause it's all trial and error what works for me may or may not work for you but keep it green and safe in 08

If you remove the register you will have to remove the ductwork in the ceiling or the whole house will smell dank

Yeah, it's true, I'd have to bypass the duct work or else I'd have some skunky smelling A/C haha. Even with the central A/C set on 76 right now the room still gets fairly warm with the door closed. Opening the door and using a box fan has helped, however, I can't do this if I have company over. I've got one or two ideas and I'll post if they fail/succeed. I hadn't thought about an A/C box setup, I'll have to look into it. Thanks again!
