What do you all think of the metal in-line ducting fans? I'm buying a new light. Are they suitable for a 600w cool tube set up? Saw a 300 cfm at BG for $50. Or should I just suck it up and pay extra for a centrifugal type fan? Thanks in advance.

Don't bother with the inline duct fan unless you have a long duct. The inline fans are great especially the Vortex Powerfans. You can't beat a 10 year warranty..

You probably won't be happy with those cheap duct booster fans for very long...save the money and do it right the first time.

Do it right the first time.

I just changed my 146 CFM dayton for a 162 CFM Aeroflow, my cab temperature dropped from 36 C to 30 C.

That's a lot.
