Everything you need to know about COCO

These three treads taught me more than I know about growing in COCO! There is more than enough knowledge to be successful in coco in these three threads!

Eventually DHF counseled me on everything else that I needed to fine tune!

It is BABY SHIT EASY once you know the rules and way to correct problems in COCO!

Happy New Years!

Peace

I see you`ve been busy here lately LJ.....Not much interest in DTW coco compared to the water only organic dirt growers that makes up the majority of the personal growers here IME......but......there`s a few knowledgeable experienced growers here like Itsmychoice that rock hard but he`s an exception to the rule.....

I`m glad to see you represent with what`s able to be done with a lotta research and runs under yer belt to achieve the results you post run after run with consistency and taking total environmental control as well as automated fertigation to the levels necessary for an intermediate skilled grower to achieve well over 1gpw EVERY cycle.....

DTW coco is the absolute be all end all setup for set it and forget it once dialed.....bar none ....anyways.....PLEASE don`t fall victim to the know-it-all professors like Dr.Dutch telling a commercial grower about serious deficiencies compared to his tent grow when he has ZERO knowledge of dwindling down ppms/ec toward the end of cycle to ALLOW the plants to cannibalize themselves and get rid of all stored nutrients in those "deficient " leaves he called out till chop and then allow a long slow dry and cure for optimal end results......that said......

Keep strokin , and.....

Peace......DHF......

Edit: Get ta waork trimmin , shapin , and prunin them bitches home skillet.....

Those 3 threads are how I mostly learned to grow indoors. I am as organic as can be outdoor but could never wrap my head around soil indoors. I know there are people that pull it off but... For me it's so much easier to use small pots of coco and not have to worry about over watering and it's much easier to keep a bug free environment as soil depends on bugs/living organisms to release nutrients. Also in the beginning it was much easier to fix mistakes in coco vs soil which also helped while learning to not lose plants. Another benefit is being able to automate watering freeing your time up to do other things. IMO coco or rockwool are for indoor cultivation and living soil is for outdoor.

First of all Salute DHF

SECOND no need to inform the entire forum how long it takes me to trim DHF 🤦‍♂️

Thirdly I wouldn’t be half the grower I am without your advice and and more importantly COUNSELING!

COCO DTW is BABYSHIT easy if you understand a few cardinal rules! It’s scary when you have a couple successful outdoor runs in dirt or i think you wanna grow indoors in almost kinda like dirt promix! Ain’t no knowledge you wish you knew gonna be better than runs under your belt!

ENVIRONMENT WILL ALWAYS BE THE MOST IMPORTANT IMO! No matter inside or outside!

DHF still gives me hell for running CO2 PPMs as high as I do and more importantly all but guarantees my million dollar Si is pointless!

He is probably correct? but he hasn’t wrote me into his will yet so he can’t boss me around !

Happy New Year

DHF

I will never understand why growers try to use outdoor methods indoors! Indoors The inputs light, nutrients, CO2, and environmental cost a fortune!

Adapt or perish!

So I agree growing in coco is easy as long as you are aware of the Calcium issue with coco. Don't let anyone tell you how to grow unless you ask. I get lambasted for enriching CO2 in my tent now I don't go too crazy as the tent exhaust will just suck it all away, but CO2 and Light is plant food. However every little bit of CO2 helps. If your willing to buy it your plants are all to happy to convert it into sugars.

How big is your Dehum?
I have two 25 Liters ,for a 25 x 8 ft room, that are very efficients but its still a wetland here....
Sealed rooms with Leds and Co2 can get a little wetter doh....

Hey GFR ....Yeah , sealed rooms w/CO2 and packed with plants dialed and shittin water vapor and excess CO2 that the plants didn`t eat during lights on , leaves the room pretty soupy without the constant fight back and forth between enough RH to facilitate explosive growth mixed w/adequate ppms of CO2 to make the equation work for optimum growth and yield while the minisplit fights the room temps during lights on and the dehueys fight the spiked RH levels during lights off.......but hey....

Guaranteed what`s been learned over the yrs using LED`s is that the plants do better under increased room temps in the mid 80`s range while maintaining as high a RH level in the mid 70 percentile till right before harvey to help prevent airborn nasties during lights off with those spikes I spoke of earlier.....now.....

LJ`s got his room dialed with the trollmaster and always remember to keep room temps with lights on and off within 10 degrees which is real hard to do without all the bells and whistles needed in said sealed room , but LJ`s been showin his ass and keepin his lights on and off temps within 5-6 degree variables so there you go.....

The more runs under yer belt , the more you see things that need to happen to make the ball keep rollin....and lastly.....DTW coco is the easiest shit there is to dial as long as you learn the cation requirements and keep the calcium and magnesium in the upper levels for consistent growth....anyways.....

Enuff outta my old ass this day , so keep strokin and.....

Peace.....DHF.....
