Ever blacked out from smoking? Blood sugar

I was reading ICmag issue #5 today, and was reading about the reduced blood sugar thing. It was very interesting if you haven't read it. But it does apply to me, I weighed 190 before I began smoking again, but when I began smoking again I went down to 170- Shredded as hell, then equalized at 182 with a pretty decent 6 pack. And my diet is all junk food, and I only have caffeine during the day, and I pretty much binge eat before bed.

But one time at a party I was really getting fucked up because I knew I was taking a cab home, and it was my best friend's birthday, so I was getting white girl fucked up. Anyway, at one point after smoking and drinking a bit, I found it very hard to stand, and my head started to hurt. I decided to go outside and grab a bottle of spring water from a cooler. As soon as I opened the door my sight went black and my knees gave out. I never fully blacked out, but I knew I couldn't hold myself up. After I fell, I started shaking all over and broke out in a profuse cold sweat. I sat for about 10 minutes and had a cigarette, and felt fine. It just scared the shit out of me. I wanted to know if anybody has had this problem, especially diabetics.

never had one, but I was recovering from a bit of sickness. Bronchitis/valley fever, AND I just overcame a badly swollen lymph node from too much pesticide in my apartment at the time. (all of the neighbors had roaches, I had to keep all of my food in the fridge). But yeah, it was pretty scary. But all of my friends know that I can handle my stuff, so they were really cool through the whole thing.

I bet it did scare the shit out of you.

By the sounds of it you know very well why it scared the shit out of you.

The cold hard truth is you need to have a diet that stabilises your blood suger over longer periods or your pancreas, heart and liver are going to pack in and you won't be toking on this earth anymore.

binge eating before bed, big NO!!

shit food, big NO!

no exercise, big NO!

you are essentially spiking your body with rubbish it does not want and has to work incredibly hard to get rid of once consumed (even for a healthy person!).. it may be too late for you to regain near full health of your organs but stabilising and balancing your blood suger through better diet will start to turn back the clock,, or the sands..

then take a spoon full of honey after smoking,, it's regenerative and good for mucous membranes.. ticklyness gone.. :yummy:

always buy good natural honey, not the processed runny stuff.

Good healthy vibes to you both and please love your body, you will only get that one in this lifetime. :ying:

Thanks you very much for the advice Lost at sea! If you also want to clear mucus/infection out of your lungs "productive coughing" in the shower helps, so does citrus oil and colloidal silver in a sink full of hot water. Breathe that steam in and here comes the exorcist style mucus filled coughs. It's amazing how much shit you will find in there.

especially diabetics
Long term type 1 diabetic (nr 48yr now) . Around 8 or 10yr back I grew some Chronic outdoor UK . Twice while smoking it my blood sugars crashed , First time I was feeling like some air , got to the door & crashed , hit the door with my head door flew open & I dived out & fell a few feet down some steps & nutted concrete . 14 stitches in forehead first time 11 the second although I was already outside this time but still hit concrete .
It`s not the only times either that my sugars have crashed while smoking good weed , now the GF insists I check my sugar levels after a smoke .

Fed up with A&E staff & doctors asking me if I have taken anything coz my eyes are shot .

I should say that I`m around 140lb , healthy diet with no junk food soft drinks etc & very rarely touch alcohol .

Hey PizzaMan,
I think I have had the same thing many times over the last 25 years, and many of my friends had the same shit happening. one crashed into the counter of a dutch coffeeshop and took the whole thing down.
Could be the blood sugar...
I recall a few times of going to the toilet stoned, feelng great pressure in my stomach and blacking out after taking a big dump.
Had myself checked out, but physically all was fine...
Maybe we'Re so chill sometimes that our bodies can't be bothered raising blood pressure when getting up or after taking a massive shit that's been waiting for a while?
Just guessing... well it never did me any bad, black out and tadaaa, back again, covered in sweat but not feeling bad at all... more like relieved....

You know man I'm actually glad I ran across this post. I've personally seen it happen to 3 different people...Guy#1(one of my best friends, which has happened to numerous times) Guy #2(Also good friend, saw it happen to once) & Guy #3(one of my other friends little brother)...All of these were at least 10yrs ago.
Almost all of which were in uncomfortable settings *Around Parents/Large crowds of unfamiliar people*, Haven't smoked in a few days and smoked large amounts, or as in Guy #3 (complete lightweight smoker)
GUY 1&2 both complained afterwards of being in an almost anxiety/panic attack state (feeling really lightheaded, can't catch a full breath, or feeling extremely uncomfortable around large groups of people)...Every single one of the guys passed out almost immediately after standing in which they fell out and went into a convulsive like state...Most times would be fine after sitting for a minute or so, but sometimes guy #1 would feel really nauseous afterwards....
I don't know though.
I mean I've smoked too much where I had almost worked myself into a full blown panic attack before and felt like I MIGHT pass out, but I've never completely lost consciousness.

Fuckingroovin, welcome to ICMAG in all her greatness! Yeah, I can also attest to the anxiety feeling. Ive never had a panic attack otherwise, but I felt like I did right after (the shaking time), then felt fine, and it never happened again.

although it has happened to me numerous time, I don't necessarily black out everytime.
Sometimes I can foresee it coming or kinda feel it beeing imminent ( yeah like a panic attack, very unpleasant, can't be around people) and lie down the instant before I pass out...
It feels kinda like a circulation breakdown and all you can do is try and keep on breathing... strange but funny you guys have similar things going on... it's alsways a circulation problem I think... but why , when I'm completey fit otherwise and exercise a couple times a week ?

One time, I was on a balcony smoking the biggest doobie of my life in Monetgo Bay, Jamaica. I was sitting in a chair took a big rip all of a sudden everything went blurry aka the lights outside, I lost my equilibrium feel out the chair, I was only out for about 20 seconds woke up and said let me get that doobie back haha, actually I came to and said I think I just blacked out. What a spring break that was!

Thanks for the welcome PizzaMan...
You know, I used to LOVE smoking, and I mean LOOOOOVVVEEE it, almost like I couldn't live without it....But a few years back I started working 12hr nights almost 7 days a week, I cut back on my smoking to the point where I almost quit because if I came home and smoked I wouldn't be able to go directly to sleep (which I had to do to be able to get at least 7hrs of sleep)...I remember not smoking for a week straight and my 2 week vacation started that morning so I decided to smoke on my last break at work in the car (took waaay too many hits to have not smoked in a week) and maaannn when I went back in I just knew I was going to pass the hell out. I had never felt like that from smoking before and I mean NEVER... It was CSG's SSSDH fully organic, It was my personal stash I'd had for 4 months...I was ghost white, heart racing, hands/legs shaking...Ever since that EVERY time I smoke that feeling is in the back of my mind (almost makes me not want to smoke for fear of that feeling)
