True blue.... Dont give up on the recirculating system Man... It does work, trust me.. You may just need to tweak the systems a bit better to acheive the results. My system has been undergoing surgury for over 2 years now!!
I dont 24/7 drip feed in mine, nor have a noticed any differance between lava and hydroton. I belive that the two mediums are damn near the same!!
Try backing off the drip feed to run every 2 - 3 hours for the time it takes to completly exchange the water in the system to all sites.. This gives the hydroton/lava time to dry out somewhat and provide more O2!!
Your plants just look so happy but different.. I dont know if it's just the strain or what, but "shrug", i cant tell if they are asking for something.....or just that way! In anycase They are filling out nicely, should yeild ya some decent results!!

thanks for the tips mate., i actually did back it off for a period there, just 15 on every hour , that ratio sounds better..im with you though they sem to be growing fine, just lacking somthing..hmm well not to worry, i changed the system. recirc now feeds from under the netpots so dont have to worry bout it now

lowered buckets ,all sitting on the same levels now..smaller control bucket,with filter
moved the humidifer to an easier accesable spot.

Well, all in all, those are some monstrous buds, and minus the droopy leaves everything looks just right. Did you try dropping the nutes WAY down to see if that made a difference with the curling? That would be my only guess because everything looks so good......
Oh well, you'll pull of a pretty nice yield by the looks of it, and don't feel bad going back to the DWC. The whole reason I chose DWC, and mediumless at that, is simplicity. There are very few variables, and it's easy to pick out the one's that are the problem with this grow method.
Unfortunately in my case, the error is usually ME!

tried droping the nutes yes...didnt do shit lol...they just didnt like the constant water flow from above...no mater how much oxygen i could give em..
foaf the monster closet bandit hehe still remember that and look at it ocassionally ..beast . i did one better and flooded em..lol back to DWC thanks for popping in..they seem to be liking it.

DWC's kickin...and there loving it.. no more curls...the buds have started to stretch/grow at the tips..all in all looking much healthier.. ppms droping at 1500 , co2 @1500 , RH @ 35% (turned off humidifer) and D/H running 24/7
also dropped night time temps to 15-17C with the hope they frost up a bit more.(29C lights on)
new additon to my room..3 lady bugs!!
eat them nasties hehe.. they sure will be fat living in there.. hopefully they multiply..

BLING!! They are standing back up tall and proud now....I'm with you on DWC. I couldn't do it any other way. I'm glad to see them growing right. It's surprising how well they were doing regardless. Way to go man!

What strains are you running again? Those bud shots look a lot like my sativa leaning Cali Orange. Are they indica, sativa, or mix?

well some major stretching/growths happening on the main tips,the lower bud sites arent changed.and fatening up slowly however the tops have had all this new found need to stretch and try and throw out more buds,its like there still at day 15 to 20 ..got me fuckt lol ..though since they havent been running at 100% with all the top feed troubles etc etc..now there back to normal they have this new found quest , very strange..really starting to look like full sativas or somthing?? got me stumped..
heres a phew examples

Yeah they do look similar to my Cali Oranges. I noticed you said "31 days bout half way" in a previous post. Hate to tell ya that even at 60 days your plants likely won't be close to finished. Look more toward 80 days with the sat dom. I could be wrong but I see A LOT of similarities between your PPPs and my COs so I would expect similar flower times.

Yup, those tops seem to be stretching out quite a bit. My skum plants seem to reach for the stars like that right up till the end. I end up with long wispy fox tails on each cola at the tip. Oh well....let's watch and wait to see how they do! How's the ph in there?
