Ethylene priming

I better should have used the word 'nuts' instead of bananas.

O.K. sorry, i was not precise. Of cause I understood that bananas might evaporate ethylene to initiate the ripening process. Thats at least a myth known from vegetable storage e.g. in the fridge or vegetable basket. Propably there is a connection. At least I saw a paper making this claim.

What I actually meant: If the ripening causes plants to look like female, but are actually genetically not, thats causes problems with breeding, right?

Sure I will make some research on the subject. Esp. if / how that works with jah.

After watching 'Queer Planet' on Peacock...well, that REALLY debunks a lot of 'there's male and there's female ONLY' thoughts about plants and animals. I highly recommend the viewing.

Transplander vs. chicken shredder. The world of cannabis is not a 69ish hippy commune. Cocks are killed and hens remain virgin.
These are highly selective ethics. This habitat ist hostile. Not less freaky to keep da ladies starving in desire, sin semilia.
The 'natural state' is a very subjective doctrine, facing the fact, that this nun sense dialectics forces the female body to freak out, hormon wise. Creating all these juices and sents, that are made to tempt the lovers, or at leasts insects and cultivars.
And how did brians mother receive the blessings of motherhood,
If not through the rape of the Roman legion, propably a love child.
Playing god is a highly sensitive subject, my friend.
And the rational is the self, my friend.

Yeah you are misunderstanding everything. All of it. It doesn't cause a "ripening plant to look female"... wtf nobody said anything like that. Reading comprehension, first and foremost...

With fruits, it is not a "myth" at all. Set some ripe bananas, or an avocado next to some unripe bananas and see what happens. It's an easy thing to test, with and without controls. No myth, basic science.

Applying it to weed; if you place some ripening bananas with your seeds while germinating them, you will get a higher percentage of females to males than you would with no ethylene.

Also, use spell check or something man.
