Ethiopian sativa

I don't remember exactly how many days the plants are. I think about 2.5 weeks. I'm wondering if I should remove the plant on the left (slightly purple) now. I read in this thread that purple phenotypes are worse.

Rather looks like a slight PK and / or CalMg decency to me. But regardless if I am right or wrong, "worse" depends on your opinion. I personally want to have the pheno with the weakest effects.

You guys should contact them and let them know that you have solved the mystery and it's Skunk. :D
Over 10 years ago they have written something similar to the seedfinder page (if not the same text):

"Imported from South Africa, produced in Holland. Exclusively inbred, never hybridized, 100% Sativa. Large long budleaves, buds are also large and long with lots of resin. A sweet licorice or anise flavour. "Up" high similar to Thai. High yields. Well suited for outcrossing with late bloomers to produce earlier flowering. Also does very well under artificial light. A very popular variety."

The skunk is just an assumption but Sensi did it, so I assume Dutch Passion have done the same.

Totally ! Sensi says on the Durban page that it's 90% sativa, thus 10% is indica. Now if we bear in min that skunk is 25% indica (Afghan), Skunk x Durban is 12.5% indica, and they probably just rounded it to 10% because it's easier to read/remember. And then Nirvana just says openly their DurbanPoison is Durban x Skunk, so yeah I see no reason why Dutch Passion would be any different.

I actually had Nirvana in mind but did an error and wrote Sensi. But since they all of them (probably) have it and you have "corrected" me I just let it unedited as it is.

erm.. with all due respect... this is the Ethiopian thread
I don't see a problem with one page off topic of another African strain that is quite similar. There are still 24 other pages directly related to it (or at least crosses). If you are not interested in reading it, you can just skip the few posts.

Honestly I just thought purple meant it'd be heavier. That seems to be my experience with purple weed anyways...
Heavier.... narcotic.

@endgegner In addition to its purple color, it also has wider leaves. I also want weak effects, but sativa.

@xtsho Instead of feminized seeds, create Ethiopian Auto :] If you don't do it, I will do it hahaha But first, I need to test whether I even like the Ethiopian high ;)

@goingrey descriptions of breeders change over time. Some due to pressure from the cannabis community, and others because it is no longer possible to hide the truth xD Durban once had a description: 100% sativa, never hybridized, and that it has 8.6% THC. Now they write that it is a hybrid and has 16-25% xD

I'm not a fan of autos and I don't want to ruin the Ethiopian by incorporating Ruderalis into it. I just want to be able to plant a seed and know it's going to be female. Unless you're growing outdoors in short season climates and don't want to use light depravation to get the plants to flower early and finish or want to have a flowering plant in a veg tent I can't see any reason to grow auto's.

You can also put autos in the corner of a vegetation tent or mother room. I am looking for a cheap bulk auto seeds (like 100 seeds for 100 euros) deal but have not found anything, yet. And I don't wanna breed them myself.

Indicas tend to be more purpelish (like PCK). Also purple colors also come from colder temperature (paired with genetics), but it does not mean that a purple sativa is also more narcotic.

Idk my purple honduras pheno is pretty chill and sleepy 😴 as dubi states similar to the lowland columbians in the honduras thread.
