So the seeds from the shorter flowering will tend to duds? I already have seeds and she is ripening more. I had a longer flowering SMG male that really exhibited a Haze expression and this early Eth. got the pollen. How do you predict the seeds will turn out?

Thinking of culling her. I had a male Ethiopian that was wispy as well, culled him.
You have to understand that these will not be smoked where aroma counts a lot. They are to be either dry ice sifted and pressed into rosin and decarbed (haven't figured exactly how yet) for edibles.
This plant is not practical for me.
Hi sublingual the early and moderate flowering plants seem to be out of ph range. Did you check it out ?

The pic of the longer flowering is a bit dark, but she has the structure and look of my favorite Ethiopian types, indeed looks like my favorite pure Ethiopian mother. I would definitely give her a chance. If she has overgrown size limits then prune her as necessary to put her within effective arch light of the lamp, plant will focus energies and flowers in all the lower branches without any problem. Long flowering tropical sativas can still be topped in early flowering if needed and they will respond well, unlike indicas.

Ganja sativas or tropical psychoactive sativa landraces like Ethiopian have been selected for qualities of the flower, and not for hash production, therefore these equatorial landraces are not the best genetics for extractions. For that, better choose hashplant indicas from Afghanistan and Pakistan, which have been selected for centuries for the goal you are looking, finishing in half the time than equatorials, being also much easier to grow indoors.

A cross between Ethiopian and long flowering Colombian Gold should produce a very interesting, vigorous sativa of cerebral effects without ceiling, and flowering times around 13-16 weeks. The quality of the effects and terps, resin production and yield of the F1 hybrid would vary from mediocre to really good, depending on the quality of the parent plants chosen and their genetic combination ability.

Ethiopian still going strong, showing signs of finishing soon. This one won't be far from 20 weeks by the time it gets harvested, certainly will have been over 16.

It has been a while since i harvested the sister plant in the same pot (maybe 4-6 weeks, idk I'm tripping now so i can't be bothered to do the minimal effort of looking at the previous page right now and doing simple math)
That top has some weight to it, the seeds are either Ethiopian fems or Double Chocolate thai crosses.

Edit: The 12 week herm smokes fine, nothing special, short duration, kinda flavorless, but I'm thinking it will be quite nice on some fishing trips.
This one still going doesn't offer much on the nose, but im getting a muted limey scent, don't hear about much lime out there

Well, I won't be going the indica route, they are okay at certain times but sativa edibles is what I have been doing an it works for me. Since I made seeds in this grow, I will need to go to the dispensary for sativa distillate. When I make my own (haven't done it in a while and will improve my methods) I heat product in olive oil about 240f for 30-40 mins. and strain.

I have a history of chasing longer-flowering sativas that I don't care to repeat and thus she was culled. I kept the fast-flowering one but to this day I am displeased with her. The medium-flowering one is going strong and has responded favorably when I improved its environment.

I can cite human errors in this grow that has limited the expression of the plants. Perhaps I can revisit this strain in the future when space can be given for a longer grow sequence.

I do check ph and EC and run the Peter's line: Clone, 3-2-1, Finish. The Ethiopian fast-flower plant was the only one exhibiting those spots which have been reduced but now the plant is clawing. I'll post a pic in a few days.

Still not seeing a good recipe for this strain???? Guys, are you brothers or haters? What the fuck goin on? Please post your best for this strain. Tons of empty reading!!!!
I make 80-30-120-140-10-60 with SOP (610 ppm @ 0.5, PH 5.8 - 6.1) and get tip burn and new grow with yellow veins. 120 kinbrite dimmed to 50%. Clones with 5 nodes. 35%, 25 C. Now gonna to flip K:Ca to 80-30-150-130-10-60 because I read that yellow veins as a potassium block from Ca.

Can anyone help me to grow such a wonderful landrace strain? Dubi recommend do not over 500 ppm for big mature plants....

Too much nitrogen from the potassium nitrate. Try to make your feed with salts used SOP as a base for K.

With nothing substantive to add on your excellent efforts, I thought a music break might entertain your viewers.

80-30-120-140-10mg-60s 610 ppm. the point is to having 140 Ca. Test run for testing this. future4200.com user called emdub27 recommend mix high calcium. I just tryed and they blocked with micros and K maybe. emdub27 is great bio- engineer. Seems they wrong.

Cal Nit is what I use, not K Nit. What is SOP?
Anyway, I only had a small pack of seeds and can accept that no great phenos were present in my pack. It happens.
I did find several dynamite phenos in other packs from Ace and others.
