I like those inkbird controllers. Easy to use.

There data logger is good get your self one mate and you can see what's going on in the room all the time when your not there.

Going to set controller for temps when i get around to this place was thinking about putting a 6" inlet fan on the cooling plug as at the moment I've got 2 6" holes and temps are fine but would be nice to have that option with still running my extraction at full power fill that room with co2 :):):):)

Cheers, no hurry at all, I'm thankful for any and all info. Gotta love caretakers initiative  my buddy was wiping water off the windows every morning until week 6 as if it was part and parcel... turns out you shouldn't turn off the dehu when you go to bed :chin:

Class mate

I'll have to check it out, I also use the wireless Sonoff controllers. Those are cool because you can check the temp/humidity anywhere on your phone.

Not had the chance the sort out the room yet with the dripper system DTW, I have some free time to sort it all out sunday.

I'm going the DTW to 25MM pipe and fittings i was trying to save cost on this small room but I don't think the 13mm pipe work will be quick enough for the draining and the M25 gland is not fitting snug it's a little to small.

I've potted up the Seedling tonight,

EC 1.17, PH 5.7
Ionic Grow coco
Root's stim
Supervit
TNC Bactorr
AND added TNC Mycorr to the top of the pots and to the hole's where it transplanted them to.

for people interested sometimes I run Mapito it's a rockwool mix with bean bag balls I flood it every 3 days if it's in big pot's, Below low is what it look's like.

I was thinking about putting it in this room with my own DIY Bucket Flood & Drain system i'm still in to head's ive got a few more days to make my mind up, but with mapito i don't chuck it away i re-use it over and over for many of years just topping it up with some more now and again.

Just waiting for the parts to arrive to fit the 25MM fitting's i put the 13mm fittings on one row and it would be a problem should have gone with what i normally use.

Once it's all here I will get some pictures up going to chuck down some sheeting I got from screwfix over the top of the pond liner as the salts are making it dusty in there.

Update on the plants still under a 600watt light's and it's a nice 25c have to have the heater on as-well to keep it at them temps. RH is 40/45 that's as much as i can make it would like it to be 60/70 but hey ho.

Got one little problem and it seems to me the plants are a very light colour EC is 1.2 so can't be that so my next thing is maybe my light it to close to the plant's what do you lot think?

Hmm...... a buch of those hypocotyls seem stretched as if reaching for light in my opinion. One of those guys is laying right on the ground. But then the one in the corner, getting the least light, looks fine lol.

I have never started seeds under HPS tho and I know it has a reputation for making stretch...

I think as soon as the leaves see enough light, the hypocotyl stops stretching. Not sure. In this case I might be tempted to lower the lights so they get a bit more

^super old pics,, but when the top soil gets plenty light this is what they look like for me.

Anyway I have had my fair share of noodly stretchers which started in lower light conditions. But even if they stretch they never seemed pale to me. maybe my stoner memory is failing me tho?

You mention the temperature, which in my mind could definitely explain the paleness.(Low root temperature especially)

However being hit 18 hrs with HID, 20-25C, and only ~6 hours of night, it's hard to believe that the root is complaining. Even if the place cools to 15C ambient with lights off that shouldn't be an issue I think... and we are certainly not living in Cold times at the moment. I would just not expect to see something like that until we are talking 16C 'day' temps.

No idea really just some thoughts. :)
I use 315s for seeds/clones and it usually gets the conditions "right" (in the ballpark), even during a cold winter. After april or may, I switch them out for LED lights because the ambient temp needs less of a boost.

can give opinion?

low lyght intense, need more near, and seed is put too high in koko, close to surface, with much root. no natural develop cyckle <- origin of strech

water too often, perlite look stain, sign of stagnant <- this origin of pale

this little plant now need suppart, put some stick and help
put all plant together, no separate

Hmm, if they start like that I would check that coco with a slurry test or have a look at the drain water EC. Some coco will act really weird out of the bag/brick, you can throw 1.7 EC in and it may come out 0.5 EC I'm sure youve seen it :) Some say it's ok but I don't trust that shit. Maybe it's the unbuffered exchange sites stripping all the cations from the solution or something. When I start my coco pots I always run a decent amount of nutrient water thru there to 'make sure' ... I like it if the output EC is at least close to the input. I have had unexplainable problems with clones while doing everything right due to this.

Well, I donno if you are reusing a batch or a fresh mix. Even if they could have used a little more light they shouldn't look so messed up I think. The Coco A&B formulas I have tried all have enough of those elements for my tap water (60 ppm Ca)

Think I agree with kandi also, looking at the perlite now, maybe it's just a bit too wet in there. this kind of problems also looks like something I seen on overwatered soils for seedlings, like some organic mix which also has clay in it...I think with EC 1.2 you don't need ot worry super much about salt build up using a wet/dry cycle with adequate amount of drain water until week 3 or 4

edit: lol, actually maybe it's just the color from root stimulator? :)
