Epically failed 1st attempt.

Seedling trouble. These are 2 weeks old. They have been suffering for about a week. It's my first attempt so I expected a learning curve. They are in a burpee coco brick I boiled (didn't precharge). They were germinated in a paper towel with heat mat, planted in the coco on 2/13 . Watered with great white at 1/2tsp per gallon. Placed under a t5 (too high caused stretch). One fell over so I thought I should feed them. I am using emerald harvest Cali pro. I fed them 1ml part a, 1 ml part b, 5 ml cal mag. It measured 40 ppm and 6.0 ph. Then all he'll broke loose. What do you think? Can be saved? I personally think I screwed it up too many ways to save it. :tumbleweed:

What I've done to try to save them; transplanted to solo cups in roots organic soiless mix ( boiled and recharged), fed them water w/ molasses at 88ppm 5.7 ph. Any feedback would be appreciated. Thank you kindly.

For promix , roots, and similar mixes pH should be around 6.5-6.8.

The plants need food bad. The coco has zero nutrient value. I have found in my experience that anything made by Burpee is garbage these days. Seeds included.

So you are on the right track to transplant them, now just feed them. Something with a good amount of nitrogen, a veg formula complete fertilizer, and pH it properly. Make sure the soil does not stay too wet, or over saturated. If the media is too wet from boiling or watering recently, give them a foliar spray of veg formula, diluted enough for a foliar.

Sorry i must not have specified i am using roots soiless mix, so wouldn't I feed them in the hydro sweet spot of 5.7 5.8? Like I said it's my first attempt. Thanks for responding.

I grow in coco and found the sweet spot at 6.0. When I used 5.8 I experienced cal/mag issues. Cal/mag is best absorbed at 6.0 or a little higher - 6.8 is too high.
