The SB3 has tested great for taste and potency so perhaps 3rd time will be the wicked charm.

Lifestar is tasty and potent as well so it may debut at the 420 cup.

For one more entry I may enter sour bubble bubble hash.

I plan to come to act like a big shot and to push my shit.

We need growers because I have to enter the Breeders Division but I plan to provide incentive for BOG growers to enter a BOG strain if that is allowed.

To day is the 1st of Septemeber. 8 months exactly to plant, Veg, flower, harvest, cure and submittal. (allowing for +- 15 days to get to Holland) ,

Also there is winter to worry about. And there is much growing and love and care still to be done. By March l will choose my best strain and I will know what I want to submit. but that depends on so many things.

Already grown and 1 month away from harvesting is Bogglegum, Dave Pots PurpleIndica, Etzel Power Superb,

Just gone into flowering is Gypsys Very berry, and Zeps Gumballs.

Planted, and still too early to know sex is Lifesaver, Bluemoon rocks, Etzel Power Divine,
and finally waiting for Annacs strains to arrive so that they can also be in on my selection list for submital.

We all have much to look forward to....

so, the private growers with their own crosses are competing against all growers of established breeders' strains as well.

perhaps an amateur breeder category? or would that just be too many categories to deal with, an too much herb. wait, that's not possible hehe.

as you can see, any amateur breeding has to outright beat established breeders' familiar strains to have any chance in placing in the grower's category, and don't qualify for the breeder's category either. would have to be a stellar strain!

just trying to get a feel for the type of entries and growin goin on for the 06 cup. i plan to be a part of it and enjoy all there is to behold, but have a lil work to do preparing something for your palettes will be in the sativa category, so no competition for BOG here :wink:

Ralph, growers can enter anything they grew out, whether a "home-made" cross, or a commercially available strain. What is judged in the Growers' category is not the strain but the skill of the grower in all of the phases of cultivation, up to and including the cure.

hashplant, to my knowledge you can make an entry without being present! At least last year it worked that way. The winner of the Indica category at the last Cup (mosca negra) was not present at the Cup.

You need not be there to enter or win.

Pedro, I think an outdoor catagory might be fun. I liked your brown outdoor but I agree that outdoor is at a disadvantage when you consider how important appearance is in the judging. Indoor grown buds can look so perfect ya know? BOG

Hey Bog we havn't sorted out any details for next year
and it will depend on the amount of judges how much is needed for an entry
this year will be different with more cataogory's
so we will need to wait and see what the entry level is
