With all the fine looking cannabis you all show growing, there should be alot of entries coming just from this site. We welcome all entries!

This year we have given more thought to how the entries might be better categorized, so we have added an additional category: Breeder Cup

This will enable all those with a bona fide seed company to enter and be judged among other seed co's.

The Grower's Cup will continue to be for all independent growers.

Sure, if you arrive by the 13th of April you can, cause that is the deadline and all entries have to be coded, labelled, divided up into smaller amounts, judge packets prepared, etc.etc.etc.

LOL @ baccas....thank you for wanting to help out in this regard, however, in order to conduct a 'blind' test...each entry will receive a number and that number will correspond with a master key log which will be kept locked in Gypsy's safe until it is time to declare the winners. So in keeping with complete and total anonmynity of the entries, no attendees will have access. Also, baccas...wouldn't you want to be getting a judge pass for yourself, especially since you are arriving early? Judge packages will be ready for distribution to those who have purchased a judges pass, beginning on the 16th of April. There will be many entries to judge and I would suggest anyone who wishes to participate in this regard arrive prior to the 18th so there is time to adequately judge each entry. But that is only a suggestion. We expect to have passes up on Seedbay within the next couple weeks for purchase.

Sounds like everyone is getting really exited. I know we are. There's much information we will be posting, like a daily calendar of events, and all of this information will be posted soon (hopefully within the next week or so). There are a few things still to be confirmed and as soon as everything is finalized I will post all event information, so hang in there everyone.

Sunnyside...sorry mate, just saw your question.

An entry which consists of 28g (cannabis) will be divided into smaller portions for the judge samples. Last year each sample was 1g but that seemed to be a bit too much for most to consume in conducting a test, especially when there was so many entries, so the idea this year is to divide each entry up into small enough portions to adequately test and make more judge passes available. The hash entries will also be divided up into smaller amounts, but certainly enough for each judge to receive a fair amount.

last year during the cup i got a bag of wyd seeds for entering, i grew them out and this year i plan to enter with this outdoor wyd. but my question is: will i be able to grow a new exotic strain this year to enter next year, he?

Most people don't realize how much pot there is to be sampled and judged at an event like this. Last year was our first cup contest and we had a lot of judges each receiving 40 or so samples of about a gram or 3/4ths I don't remember but there were a bunch of hashes to judge too.

Come and be selected for this task if you dare. 3 days will be no time to judge them all this year and who knows how many entries we will have this year if it was like this last year? BOG

I can't be a judge but that's ok cause no one goes without sampling about everything by the time its over.

Yes, this entry form is for ALL entries....each category states if there is an entry fee required. The independent growers do not have an entry fee.

Almost ready to post up the Judge and Guest passes on Seedbay where they can be purchased. Things are being done quite a bit different than they were last year...and hopefully all to the better, see....after it was all over and everyone had returned home Gypsy and I had a chance to go over everything and there were several things which could have been done better.....we both know this year you guys are going to have a blast! There will be full descriptions of the voting rights of each pass. So just a bit longer and all the details will be for everyone to see.

just 1 question Dutchgrown- do we HAVE to pay in advance for the raffle tickets...i would rather not pay through seedbay and pay directly at seedsdirect...can i just reserve the raffle/judges pass over the internet by sending you an email, like last year?
