Better lighting now. It's tough to get a good pic because the depth of field is very limited. I think they are two Spotted Mites. Battling them for a month and a half, and now going with SNS 209 and 217. The 217 does kill immediately on contact.

Spider mites for sure!

What did you take the pics with?

I hate the borg!
I eliminated them from my grow using Azatrol mixed at max ratio sprayed 5x 3 days apart followed by another organic product I can't recall at this moment 5x 3 days apart.

I've not seen a mite in my garden for over 5 years now & have not sprayed in that amount of time either.

I've seen folks say that the AZA products are causing health issues so you may look into alternatives such as pure cold pressed neem oil.
AZAs are derived from neem oil.

I'll edit this post when I figure out that other spray I used.

Man, You're lucky they're gone.

After trying a few different things unsuccessfully. I'm going with SNS 209 root drench and SNS 217 foliar spray. The spray kills them and the root drench is systemic so it runs them off. All organic.

The pics are taken with an Omax trinocular microscope at 400x. It's got a 13 mp camera on it. Almost impossible to get a live shot on the mites. They're just too quick.

Consider predator mites, lady beatle larve, beneficial nematodes, rove beatles, etc.

I think you may be able to eliminate spraying & root drenching all together. Pricey but well worth the troubles.

Maybe some predatory mites are the way to go? I'm reading that Phytoseiulus persimilis really go to town on two spotted mites.

Update. The mites are going away using SNS 209 and 217. It's not cheap but it is organic and non-chemical. Best solution. Contacting SNS twice I got great support straight away from the lady who answered the phone. On her advice the 217C (concentrate) was mixed at 1 to 6 and applied as a foliar shortly before the lights go out. The 209 was upped from 80ml per 10 gallons to 120ml per 10 gallons of drip nute in coco.

Using SNS 217 as a foliar There were allot of dead bugs, but two days later there were still plenty of live ones too, so I reapplied. I still think it was worth while because it kept the numbers down while the 209 kicked in.

The 209 will be used as Integrated Pest Management IPM on the schedule of 2 weeks on and 2 weeks off. During the 2 weeks off, Neem and / or essential oils will be used as foliar preventatives.

Be careful with the advice of "grow shops" that want to sell you what they have. Azamax and pyrenthrin will kill bugs but you would be getting way out of the clean kill zone.

Green Cleaner's home page lists one of their main ingredients as sodium lauryl sulfate and calls this stuff "slimy goodness" and calls the product " safe & all-natural".

Looking up sodium lauryl sulfate The first hit says "According to the Environmental Working Group's Skin Deep Cosmetic Safety Database, SLS is a "moderate hazard" that has been linked to cancer, neurotoxicity, organ toxicity, skin irritation and endocrine disruption." It gets worse SLS may also be listed as sodium dodecyl sulfate, sulfuric acid, monododecyl ester, sodium salt, sodium salt sulfuric acid, sodium dodecyl sulfate, aquarex me or aquarex methyl, reports the EWG."
