ooooohhh, ballsy, the most ive put thru bubble bags is about 2 OZ, damn near broke my heart, top notch hash tho, but in all honesty doing it again would make me cringe,
if transporting is your main concern, remove as much wood as you can, dry it quickly, grind it up nice & fine then vacume seal it in freezer bags (vacume sealers can be bought at most kitchen stores nowadays, cheaply enough,

ft100 - of course hash it all if that's what you want..i say go for it!...esp since you have the machine and bags and do not want to dry and carry bulk bud ....the advantage of ice hash is there'll be no problems about drying, just remove all the non-resiny leaves and buy lots of ice...
hash doesn't stink out like bud does so it's alot more safer to smoke! much cleaner for your lungs etc etc..but bud would go a little further as you tend to burn through hash faster
all thge experts say - use lots of ice and very cold water..and then add more ice!
carefully cut up the buds into small pieces over the ice water and remove the main stalks and stems ........ as you want to have most of the trichomes exposed and easily to get agitated off and it's no point smudging trichomes...
freeze for an hour or two at least prior to mixing
don't fill the bags with the maximum amount for each run....it's not a race!
I'd suggest running about an ounce to an oz and a half each night
...run the material 2 ~ 3 times 95% of the resin will be collected in the first two runs, keep the rest refrigerated and take about a week to do the complete crop..
it might be an idea to use a magnifying glass to check out the material after the second or third run to see if it is worthwhile using a more aggressive method to get the last of the trics...or just do 2 runs of each batch and make a massive batch of cannabutter at the end of the week..twice run material wont make killer cannabutter, but if there are some trics still there then it should be worthwhile!
if you make cannabutter with the remains of the bubble hash material, keep the water/butter on low for 3 ~ 4 hours and with the lid on, slightly cracked, monitor it constantly so not to burn and ruin it, stir occasionly, sacrifice a t-shirt or pillow case and use a stick to twist the material so you get all the butter out and then rinse the material again to help get all the goodness out, have some strong rubber gloves cos it's as hot as .....do a search here as there some good methods posted .....

with 8 ~ 11 ounces of starting material - i'd say you'll get more or less than an ounce of bubble!.....
well damn people. i guess i should not start a thread if i do not intend to finish it right. i ended up harvesting the buds and just keeping the bud. i used all the trim to make about 5 grams of some tasty ass bubble.

i am currently running SSH in the same cab and hope to get some more tasty bud come christmas. someday when i am on a bigger scale or have plenty of bud to hold me over for a year i will make a nice ounce of hash and press it. someday............................ peace and smoke heads, thanks for keeping this one alive!

I am glad you kept it, I was going to tell you to keep it and use the trim to bubble haha.
If you are still paranoid to take it with you, by a pack of latex gloves...alcohol...and a food saver. Make sure not to smoke on the way or before...and switch gloves (start with a couple pairs on each hand)

HAAhaha, damn i wish you made bubble.my area is so hash i dry i am actually looking at 1500 pound of decent commercial outdoor, tryin' to work out the numbers and methods i can do to it. See i figure HASHMASTAKUT (who just seems to run shit in hash world along with masterthai) gets 50 gram of honey oil a half pound of frosty nuggies, i would prob get that on the total pound of my lower grade outdoor. That would cost another 120 bucks for cans of proper butane. Then you go break up all the nugs, bubble bag it all, hope for 20 %. YOur left with 50 grams of oil , and about 3.2 ounces of bubble. Chop the honey at 15 a gram, the bubble at 90 a quarter. Thats 1080$ +750$= 1830 bucks. a sound invest ment i say. HOW DO YOU MAKE ALOT OF OIL FROM A POUND. THERE HAS TO BE A BETTER WAY THEN MY NUMBERS. ALL ADVICE FROM HASH GURUS AND ENTHUSIASTS WELCOME. PLEASE. LETS REVIVE THE HASHISH.
Yeah... the number is usually around 5% for lesser grades and then high grades can yield more like the magic 10% you are looking for. If you really make it right, don't put too much in at once and do a seperate second run you probably have a good chance to yield more than 10% scince you are using frosty fresh and ripe bud material. The most important thing there being the RIPEness If you want to yield more than 10% you much wait an extra couple weeks to harvest so that you really have time to flush well and then let the earth get dry so the plants start to die on the vine and secrete all their sugars into resin (the fan leaves should turn yellow as the sugars move from the leaves into the buds and convert to resin. Make sure to look at your resin glands under a magnifying glass to be sure they have fully swollen heads on the trichomes and it is probably best if they are not completely clear but just beginning to cloud with a bit of amber color. If you do all this I think you can likely yield arounf 10-13%.
