OE from seed to seed.

Seeds are done and looking real nice. Some tiny and most average size.

Now I can move on to my next breeding project. :D

Starting to sex and moving females outdoors soon.
Short, stocky and stinky like the big budding mother.

Lovely baby ganjas Z. Im allways amazed how you handle your OEs, its quite difficult to feed them enough :) Is there a corelation between close nodes and lights you use?
Regards!

Yes OE seem to like lots of nitrogen and become a very dark green color.
They appear to never have too much of what I feed them.

This OE looks to be a female, although no hairs are showing yet.
This OE is on the indica side and others can be slightly taller.
Same OE showing nodes and growth, compared to a Malawi sativa.

Both plants equal distance from light and showing their genetics. Both are around the 6th node from seed.
Just like a dwarf apple tree in sunlight, while another normal sized apple tree will grow to it's full height.

Very nice looking seedlings Zan :)

Looks like you have reproduced the strain mainly towards the compact indica chinese pheno with strong sativa branching, although the last 2 pics in your last post shows the 2 different main phenos: the very compact chinese expression and the taller vietnamese.

Orient Express loves huge amounts of nutrients, with the right pheno and the correct feeding it's our biggest yielding strain. Best wishes for the outdoor season!

My f2 outdoors in bright sun. Short and bushy like mom. Strong old school OE skunky smell.
Got high % of females from the few seeds I did.

Good Day :watchplant:

Beautiful Zanddar,

Your Orient Express F2s look lovely in the summer solstice.
Do you plan to plant them directly in soil ? They would love it and the yield would be huge if they have the chance to finish properly there.

In the woods.

In the woods.

Hello everyone.
wave.gif

Next summer I may put them directly in the ground. Need something fast for a short growing season.
Maybe you have another fast outdoor strain to recommend for next summer Dubi.

This is how the f2 look. Germed 10 seeds and got only 2 males. This one has best bud, resin and smell.
May veg it back and germ a few more f2 to select a better male from.
Has a very nice sweet hash smell. Smell is mouth watering and should be very tasty smoke.

Grow On :canabis:

Yeah indeed :) I never expected that Orient Express would perform so well over 50 latitude, yours looks very well developed in mid September with great chances to fully finish there with a great yield, like is common with Orient Express.

Looks like your selection towards the strong smelling and fast flowering phenos played a great role in this new generation, congrats friend :tiphat:
