Thanks to a generous donation by a certain member or 2 here ive been able to recoup from that aweful algea problem that decimated my last grow, the only survivors (thank the weed god) were the CRipple CreeKex Sputnik mother, and a cut of ARmed Widow, it took alot of time care and patients but i nursed them back to health and they are now growing very well. the new addition to the group thanks to a donation is a few cuts of SD ibl and Og kush.
First pic is of everyone, and the second is after taking one cut of each and adding it to the hydro system from the promix soiless they were in, i just gently placed the whole cup into water and gentle aggitated until the mix and roots released them selves then i put htem in net pots and added them to the dwc system.
far left is the cripple creek, shes got big plans in her future, trying the air layering method of cloning with this girl as well, that bunch of leaves you see in the front left has been trimmed and cloned, and further down the stem i cut away the bark and rubbed it with rooting hormone, then cut a rapid rooter, and wrapped it around and wrapped that in plastic, keep moist and we should see roots in another week or so. as soon as i can take off that branch and plant it we are tossing the big girl into flower. with hopefully other cuts following suit. under a 60ow hortilux hps.
in the center we have up front the cut of armed widow which is doing very well considering she was hit hard by the algea.. slowly but surly on the road to recovery, behind that is the transplanted cut of sourdiesel and to the right of that the og kush, both will stay in till i can get some clones rooted and ready and off to flower they will go also.
the tub im using for vegg is 8 gal, because im not planning on letting the plants get too large, and for flower i have a 15 gal 6 plant dwc with 100 gal airpump and 4 airstones. 2 12 in and 2 10 in. LOTS O BUBBLES! i will also in flower be doing clones in probably 1.5 gal pots in good ol scotts potting soil, i chose scotts this time around cause no promix is available anywhere around me and it is what i used for my first grow ever and it did wonderfully all the way to finish. lets hope we can keep the res under 85 degrees this time!
for nutes:
vegg- shultz general plant concentrate and 1/3 strength pureblend pro (the shultz is till i get the hang of this organic thing) also will be adding a cap full of h2o2 every week or so and about 5ml of superthive. maybe if im feeling adventurous a little liquid karma.
for bloom: pureblend pro, and shultz african violet fert, produces very nice blooms) and the last 2 weeks i think its called monster bloom, from biotek?
i guess thats it for now. let the games begin.
