Thanks Troutman...if I could read the booklet/label, i bet it would tell me that. My eyes don't work like that anymore without a magnifying glass.

The Doctor is OUT and has moved on...
Just don't mix Botanigard with potassium salts of fatty acids. Did that years ago and it blessed me with damaged roots that never recovered.

Pricey stuff...and I found it to be about 80% effective in killing Root Aphids. Expect stranglers though...which means additional drenches will be necessary.

Good luck!

We're killing Root Aphids...still. I've been using Biowar's Foliar and Root packs, but still have them and they're really starting to tick me off...

No insecticidal soaps used...I did that once and it almost killed my plants.

Here's what you want to do. Get SNS 203 from Sierra Natural Science. It's a root drench. You want to apply it thoroughly and 15 minutes later flush the plant pot with fresh water. Your aphids are dead. Next you want to use SNS209. This is also a drench that you do not flush, just mix it with your nutrients for two weeks. In two weeks your plants will be immune to most bugs on the plant and in the soil. The bugs will be repelled by is because it is a systemic solution and you will have a preventative program in place.

The 209 is certified organic and it got rid of spider mites that were wreaking havoc on my plants. If you have any doubts about the advice, go ahead and call SNS. You will get the best help, all the answers you're looking for.

Hey Zeez!! You must have read my mind. I was just looking at the SNS203 and 209 and searching the forums for the best way to use it. Big thanks!

All organic, good stuff, It Works and you don't have to worry about crap in your plants. Call them up if you're not sure. You will be afterwards. I actually called them back to say thanks for helping me and I mentioned your aphids. What I gave you was the straight scoop.:tiphat:

I saw that they are certified organic and now offering free shipping. So, I got myself some and a free sample of their plant stimulant kit.

I'm planning on using SNS209 two weeks on and two weeks off indefinitely. Prevention is the way to go. Wish I found them sooner.
