Moonshine Melts swept that extract cup. Best looking extracts I've seen in a while!
If you want to place in the emerald cup you pretty much have to submit your samples to that 101 north club..
I'm not saying it was rigged, but it seemed kinda shady how they named off the winners and it was "entry from '101 north' club" on almost every winner.
And they used the best '101 north' club entry's to base the judging off of.
I felt the organization needed adjusting. The contestant display and spreadsheet needed to be more up front and center. After all, this was about the entries. Not sure why the 215 varification was all the way in the back, with no signs telling you where it is.
Didn't make it this time. The cost of entry always makes me second-guess attending since it seems to mostly be a vending event? I'll attend one of these years though.
Fresh back to San Diego from THE cup. Got 4 packs of Sour Lifesaver from BOG and 2 packs of Cornbread Bubba (Triangle Kush x Bubba (r)from Nspecta. Both were good guys and I appreciate the generosity of the hook ups they gave me. Can't wait to go pheno hunting.
The setup was kinda clustered but I'm not sure what else I expected. It did seems like things were pretty tight especially on Saturday but that just speaks to the success of the event.
I tried finding some other IC Amigos but that didn't work. Maybe next time. I'm better suited for small group chill sessions anyways...
They should have a ranking posted somewhere.. all 700!! I want to know where I ended up in the pack but I'm sure they didn't go to all that trouble of ranking them all.
At least a rundown of the top twenty somewhere online.. what the f.. Lazy bastards
All the vendors were easy to talk to, some had a little line on Saturday. after 3 it got quite a bit more crowded but before that it wasn't bad. Harborside had Steep Hill labs at their booth and they were doing free potency tests of meds on the spot for free and posting them somewhere to compare against others. The machine they used was supposedly calibrated against both liquid and gas chromatography machines. They took a 1.5 gram sample and put it in a clear circle thick hollow slide and returned the sample. The machine can be rented for around 2k a month. About the size of three vcr's stacked. More professional than a high times cup overall, still very vendor focused/party focused. Agreed that the entrys should be more accessible somehow, maybe it's a security thing with all the work involved with entrys and judging over a month. Saw several kids as well, a couple infants. Issue seemed to be a lot of cigarette smoke in some areas. There were designated areas to smoke by the bathrooms but people pretty much smoked whatever they wanted wherever.
