Something serious must be going on. This time they shut the Mr. Nice forum down in the middle of the voting for the September/October Bud Of The Month contest. The auctions were hours from ending too.

what it means please ? i know nothing about this language
the site is still down, i thought it can be an upgrade but two days and still nothing, there was a problem two days ago or a little more, it seemed to have dangerous links put by shady members.
i hope the forum will come back soon. any news are and will be welcome.

now, whatever prompted them to turn on the MNS firewall... is above my pay grade.

thanks a lot coba to have take the time to explain this. im sure the forum will be up soon. it must be and an upgrade related to the strange links recently put on the forum. i dont understand why someone would like to hack the site, its so dumb and useless.

Seems like Shantibaba pulls the plug on the forum every so often when things get too hot. Things were starting to get crazy again in the last couple a weeks. Some dumb broad threatened another member with legal action. RimHolio posted a link to his free forum to promote his seed shill operation and then all off a sudden the forums go away during the middle of an already month-late Bud Of The Month contest with voting in progress. Auctions were stopped early with bidding in progess for the second time this year. Hope they come back online again.

Today, from MNS forums

Hi All

well you are all members and we try to do the best for you all. Sometimes I close the site down when I choose to investigate things without new things occurring...it is my site and I only do it to keep things clear of stupidity.

Jesse mentioned several links and if you clicked on them your computer got a hammering. They were on other sites but some of you were getting caught out by clicking on them. We were investigating these things as well as cleaning up and updating.

The box that came up asking for password and username was installed by our staff during the time and was all our doing and intentional. I am sorry I did not give warning but i preferred to check without biasing things. Hope it did not cause too much grief but I am sure you all have something to do other than be on a Mr Nice forum at different times, no! If not then you better all look at yourself well in the mirror, as real life is not online all the time! But we do appreciate your comments and concerns and want you all to know we secure our community the best way we know. Be well and enjoy the forum.

Sounds like most of the canna forums I've seen. There are only a couple forums I've found not entirely dominated by either a)incredibly rude stoners who behave like they're 13-14, or b)insane tin-foil paranoids.
