Power= volts x amps for A.C. you multiply the result times .707 this is the root mean square(RMS) of an AC sine wave.

Add a small house panel 6 circuit's. 3 for the light's (2 light's to each one) the other three can be used for fan's pump's or what ever. don't overload your circuit's. causes heat issue's, by all mean's do your homework.insurance does'nt cover fire's from grow room's...lol if the 1000 watter's pull more than say 8 amp's each, 8amps+8amps 16 amps yer push'n it on a 20amp 120v circuit..! they'll need their own circuit. max for circuit is 80 %...don't try to break 220 down to 120 :nono: good luck... hope this help's

you can alway's get bigger amperage breaker's for the light's say 30 amps

I am also close enough to the panel to run a sub panel off the 110 and split it through a 70 amp breaker.

there's you answer right there...^

They are all 120 volt receptacles, but some of them have 220 volts going to them.

Yamaha_1fan - 220v doesn't need a neutral, so both wires going to the 220v receptacles are hot. Many 220v appliances can be switched off simply by breaking one leg (i.e., turn one wire off and on as opposed to turning both wires off and on). To convert that box to 120v, the always-hot leg needs to be replaced with a neutral. You know, for a guy that's not an electrician, you seem to know electrical shit pretty well.

PC :smoker:

I know 220 doesnt need a neutral. What I am saying is if you wanted that timer box to switch 120 and 220 at the same time, you would use one of the 220 hots that is switched, and then run the neutral straight to the oulet. The neutral and hot would give you 120. The timer would break the hot, shutting off the outlet.

That sounds good on paper, dont know about in reality though
