both fan and HPS are 220 volts.

The timer is also for 220 volts, and it only got ONE outlet(for the plug) and ONE inlet. so i was thinking of putting the fan's and the light's outlet at the same inlet...so both can turn on and off at the same time.

It is good that they are all 220v and not mixed, but what wattage is your light? What wattage is the fan you are using? See, the timer you have is rated for only so many watts (and amps I believe). Don't go beyound this rating. The info can be found on the back of your timer. I think that if you have a 600watt light or lower, it would be okay to add the fan (assuming that it's only one) to the circuit and be okay. Peace.

why would you want your fans going off ...when your lights do anyway...plants need to breath at night.

i asume that the fan is for the light....your timer should say how many whats it can handle on the back...add 10 percent to the ballast wattage...find out how many watts your fan is pulling...see if when you...add your watage up it is under what the timer says it can handle...peace

i think he means a fan in his growing room for circulating the are bether and making the plant stronger

if he means his fan fore air revresnes he hase to do it 24/7
the nicest way is in combination with a fan controler to have a constand temp
in his room

Some more info would be nice....

Timers, unless heavy duty, usually are good for 10 amps on 110V (5 amps at 220V)

Wattage of light? Wattage of fan? Brand and model of timer? Wattage maximum of timer...it's all there if you look.

The light is 400 watt, i dont know the fan's wattage, and the timer is by National model TB358. It does not say how many watts it can handle....
but there is a switch for 50 or 60 Hz....

tnt: what is a relais?
