Word on the wire from Sac is that El Camino Wellness is being raided by the Feds as we speak. All local activists MUST report to the scene with signs, bullhorns and your activists spirit.

El Camino Wellness Center Collective
2511 Connie Dr, Suite #200
Sacramento, California 95815

Can someone confirm this?

"RCP is false report. The Sheriff was staging for El Camino. All activists report to El Camino @ 2511 Connie Dr, Suite 200 in Sacramento."

There is a raid going on. Apparently they staged at one dispensary to make them shit their pants, then went and raided a different one.

and now this

http://www.news10.net/news/article/196485/2/Feds-raid-major-Sacramento-pot-dispensary

SACRAMENTO, CA - Federal agents raided one of the Sacramento area's largest medical marijuana dispensaries Monday, apparently making good on a threat issued last fall.

Neighbors said authorities swarmed El Camino Wellness at 2511 Connie Drive around 7 a.m.

Casey Rettig, a spokeswoman for the Drug Enforcement Administration, confirmed the action was led by the DEA but said she could offer no other information because the search warrant was sealed.

El Camino Wellness was among the dispensaries targeted by the US Attorney in Sacramento last October for what the federal government considers illegal trafficking in marijuana.

The US Attorney sent letters to a number of dispensary landlords warning that they faced the loss of their property if they continued to allow the pot shops to operate.

Kim Creedon, the owner of the building that houses El Camino Wellness, said she had been trying to get the business to leave and was not worried about losing the property.

By 10 a.m. a handful of protestors had gathered outside El Camino Wellness to protest the federal crackdown.
