Eddy & Linda

OBITUARY

Linda Irene Senti

Born, July 22 1952, in Carmel, California. She was raised in Monterey, and graduated from the Monterey High School. Linda Senti passed from this mortal plane on Sunday, November 25th at 8 p.m., PST.

Linda Senti is survived by her Mother, Erma; her two children, Richard, her darling and cherished daughter, Christie; and her husband Eddy Lepp. Linda is also survived by countless friends including: Craig Lemire, Jason Dunlap, Jason Parker, Jen, Linda, Ellie, Bobby and Carol Weed, Steven & Thomas, Chris Thompson, Mario and wife and lovely daughters, Kenshee, Bill Maher, Joe Rogan, Ngaio, Pony Boy, the members of the band Vegitation, Ariana, Denis Peron, Jack and Jeanie Herer, Valerie and Mike Corral, Chris and Nicki Conrad, Rocker-T, Peter, Lorna, the staff at the Cannabis College, Arjan, Franco, the Greenhouse Crew, Mila, Soma, Ian, Mr and Mrs BOG, Nellie, Liza, Raynel and Marcus. Linda had so many friends in Europe and North America it is impossible to list them here.

A celebration of Linda’s life and achievements will be held on Saturday, December 8th, at Eddy and Linda’s home.

Linda and her husband, Eddy Lepp, became famous in California for their work promoting, and collecting signatures to get Propostion 215 on the ballot in 1996. Perhaps due to all this effort, the initiative passed and Medical Cannabis became legal in California.

Linda Senti was the former Executive Assistant to the National Director of the American Medical Marijuana Association.

Founder and Leader of the Multi-Denominational Ministry of Cannabis & Rastafari, Linda was instrumental in filing an injuntion against the Federal Government, California State Government, and the County for protection against raids on their medicinal cannabis gardens. This injunction is still actively being considered in US Federal District Court, and has not been denied after more than a year of active litigation. Linda kept this alive until her last day. One of her final messages was to carry on her work to free cannabis users from the draconian laws here in the United States and worldwide.

Linda received so many awards for her work during her lifetime that we cannot list them all here. Just recently Linda received the Jack Herer Emperor Award, and has previously been honored by the Los Angeles Medical Marijuana Expo, and received the Lakesterdam Lifetime Achievment Award. Linda shared many awards with her husband Eddy Lepp, including Freedom Fighter of the Year from High Times Magazine.

Although Linda was uncomfortable being in front of the crowds, she was comfortable with Eddy speaking for her. Without Linda’s support and help Eddy would never have been able to do what he did. The shared philosophies and love that Linda had with Eddy resulted in an incredible level of activism in the struggle to legalize marijuana.

In lieu of flowers, please send donations to help carry on Linda’s work to

The Multi-Denominational Ministry of Cannabis & Rastafari
PO Box 382
Upper Lake, California
95485

Please make checks payable to the Ministry. Eddy and the family really needs your help now.

The epitaph on her gravestone will read: “Linda, either you didn’t know her, or you loved her.”

Please don't be put off by the appeal for donations from Eddy Lepp...

Please don't be put off by the appeal for donations from Eddy Lepp...

Considering all his assets are tied up in court until charges are dismissed or his case goes to trial, he hasn't got the cash to deal with life's little crises, like his wife dying from cancer after years of expensive procedures... not to mention a little thing like legal fees.

He does this all in the battle to legalize cannabis. He does it for all of you...

So in passing Linda left us with this blessing: it is a direct quote from video I shot as she accepted the Jack Herer Lifetime Achievement Award during the recent Harvest Party:

“With these prayers I will send out the prayers that I have in my heart for the people and the ancestors that were all before me, and who will all come after me, that includes all of you. You are all a piece of me, thank you.”

With peace and thanks,
~Chris Thompson
